*"Neoshadow, I believe that would be called vandalism unless Maya gave you permission to add the song, if I'm not mistaken? Azrael, am I?"*
Azrael nodded. "Yes. Next time, do ask." Maya sighed. "I'll let it slide 'cause you made my little bat happy."
Nightshade walked up to Asmo. "Hey, Asshat, I need a favor. I need to talk to Az about a few things, and it'll probably get ugly. We'll need a mediator. Or a referee, if it comes to it."
Nightshade nodded and walked over to Azrael, her wingtips showing the telltale glow of her Whispering Wing style. "We need to talk."
Nightshade raised an eyebrow. "So you know. That makes this easier." She looked him in the eyes and spoke calmly. "I am a follower of Discord. I make no apologies for this." She sighed. "I do, however, apologize for lying about it when the subject first came up."
Azrael narrowed his eyes. "It may take years for me to accept your kind after what happened. And I may never be used to associating with you..."
"You will have to get used to it," she said. "Were this just between us, I'd simply stop coming here; but there is another involved. Unless you would have me abandon her?"
"...as I was saying, Nightshade. I have thought this over. I may never get used to it, but I will put up with it, for her sake exclusively."
"Fine. That is all I ask." She rose to walk away, but thought better of it. "You know, there was no quarrel between us before you knew who I follow. Do you honestly believe that I am the same as the one who killed you?"
"Surely you understand why I've a bit of a prejudice. Imagine you were repeatedly violated by diamond dogs for years. Would you not then come to dislike diamond dogs?"
Maya glanced at the paper. "Sort of. Why, though? They talking about diamond dogs over there or something?"
