Asmo, calm down! Would you rather we patch you up here? Or spend a quarter of a century in a hospital?
Saber, I've a singularity cannon trained on Az's forehead, the second he leaves the bar, boom! Unless I turned off the defense's automated systems
(Damned employment, interfering with my EP time.) By this point, Nightshade was no longer the pretty little mare that had walked into the bar. Her white coat was streaked an oily red, a mix of her own blood and Az's formaldehyde, and her blue mane was darkened to almost black by the same mixture. Her left eye lay in ruin, the socket crushed by one of Az's strikes, and her teeth on the same side had been knocked out. Still, ignoring the pain, she fought on. Silver did his best to force them towards the door, and had been rewarded for his efforts with a broken wing. Finally, he got them close enough that he was able to tear the door off the hinges and kick Nightshade outside. (That's right. I'm going full Tarantino.)
Yes I can. (With a snap of his fingers all the portals close down and most of the lighting dims, and Saber is sent to the bar with a message to bring injured combatants to Arch)
"Ok.. This works I guess." Saber mumbled to herself, then looked up to see Night gone. "Where'd she go?" she thought the fight was over, and stood straight.
Azrael had a deep gash in his skull, almost cutting down to his brain. His mane, disheveled, covered his entire face as he silently stood outside, waiting waiting for Night. Maya, bruised and bloody, hurled a potion at Night from behind. If it connected, the glass would break, and she would be trapped in a glue-like substance. Raven took a deep breath before stepping out from behind the bar, a serious look on her face. She was about to do something a little unorthodox and arcane. "You can't keep me here," Asmo told Arch.
I can and will. All transport is blocked and yes I can control your Nexus. *A shadow wavers next to Arch before vanishing* See. *At the bar, the humming builds to a pulsing throb*
As Nightshade flew at Azrael again, Maya's potion struck her and shattered. She fell to the ground heavily, struggling against the substance that covered her. Within moments, she had torn a wing free, and was attempting to pull the stuff off of herself. Silver shook his head. "That will not hold her long."
*"I'm about to set off a localized singularity displacement blast. Don't want you caught in the blast."*
Maya pulled Night partially out of the glue, laid over her back, and locked a choke hold on her, attempting to render her unconscious. Azrael snapped his head back, sending his mane out of his face. His eyes were rolled back, and he had a twisted grin on his face. "Come now, Dreaded One. This one is to the death." Raven walked out of the bar and waved her hoof. A gentle force nudged Silver aside. Dusty sat up in the bar from an Azrael-delivered buck to the chest from earlier, groaning.
Nightshade rolled out of the chokehold with some difficulty and got unsteadily to her hooves. One wing was stuck to her side from the glue, and she was starting to feel the effects of the poisonous formaldehyde entering her bloodstream. Her vicious grin, despite her shattered teeth, had not disappeared. "You were already dead, Azrael. I'm going to put you in the ground where you belong!"
