Skydust tilted his head at Xaryl. "Then what's the point..? No offense intended, of course." "Here." Maya gave Aboral a bottle of Whiskey from under the counter. "You look like you'd be a fun drunk. This one's on the house. By that, I mean the dude by the door's paying for it. Hey, are you related to Discord?"
Xaryl shrugged again. "I usually like the taste" she said. Aborel frowned. "not sure. I might be. hard to tell when you just sorta pop into existence..." she said, looking at the whiskey, then shrugged and drank it all.\ Etheran sat down. "please don't let her get too drunk. she's hard enough to control as it is."
Skydust tapped his chin. "Something tells me you have an interesting story." Maya shrugged, turning to Etheran. "Eh, if anything happens, Azzy back there can just take her up to bed. No biggie, right?"
"yeah, Jethy, no biggie!" Aborel said, giggling. "Goddesses, you actually kept that nickname?" they muttered, then turned to Maya. "maybe. would you mind this entire building being made of crystal, by the way?"
"Hey, it'd probably increase the property value," she joked. Azrael approached the counter and sat down, sitting up straight. "I'm too sober for this." He tossed a small bag of Bits at Maya. "You know what I want." Maya sat down and caught the bag in her hooves. She then set it under the counter and gave the large stallion a bottle of spirits and a small, green potion. She returned her attention to Saber. "Vinyl fan, yeah? I like some of her stuff. Got some on the jukebox over there."
*A wave of magical energy hits the area as a loud crack is heard* (Walks in the front door, brushing leaves and sticks out of mane and tail with magic) Evening.
" hai! oh, and don't worry Jethy! I won't turn everything into crystal!" she said, glancing at the jukebox and snapping her fingers. "just that" she grinned as the jukebox was now made of crystals in various shades of purple
(Goes to the bar and sits down.) Whyever is a charming place like this, way out here in the middle of nowhere? On a similar note, what do you have that's strong, but also a bit, hmm, supernatural?
Skydust jumped a bit at the crack. Azrael winced as his sensitive ears flattened against his head. "Is not exploding outside just out of the fu-" Maya cut Azrael off by putting her hoof up to his mouth. She smiled at Architect. "Hey, dude. I keep it out here so I don't have to pay taxes. And uh, lean in a little, I have an offer just for you." Skydust shook his head and turned to Aborel. "I really hope that jukebox still works..."
she giggled. "oh, it does! it's just made of crystal now!" she grinned. Xaryl sat at the bar watching everyone silently.
Maya leaned in with Architect. She spoke quietly, "Got a potion that'll get you crossfaded as buck. And make your heart a little healthier. Tastes like oranges. Ten Bits, it's yours." "You should tell me about yourself," Skydust said to Xaryl, keeping his not very expressive expression.
Xaryl shrugged, her face not changing an inch. "I'm a gothic designer. my shop's at the edge of the everfree forest, a little ways from ponyville"
"Oh, I may have been by it before. A gothic designer?" Skydust pointed to Azrael. "He might be interested in such things." Maya nodded. "Sure. You'll have to buy a drink with it, though, so it looks like I'm just swiping for the booze. Technically not even supposed to have this potion."
Xaryl glanced at Azrael, then slipped over next to him. Etheran's ears perked up as he heard other universes mentioned. "it seems coming here was a good idea after all" they murmured, moving to the seat next to Architect. "my "heightened" senses can be quite useful....."
"I don't want to buy any drugs," Azrael said bluntly, making an odd assumption, not having heard what was said between Xaryl and Skydust. He popped open his bottle and quickly downed half of the contents.
