"Im currently working at the nearby nature preserve, but the way things are looking, im gonna be fired. I live by myself in a small apartment. not much more than that."
"If you do get fired, stop by here. We could always use extra help. And your parents left you? That seems... oddly cruel," Skydust told her. "I'm gonna head back to the bar." Maya gave her husband a quick kiss before making her way behind the counter.
Saber smiled at the thought of working for them. "Thank you, and yeah. Im just glad they didnt leave me with nothing. I really miss them, especially now that i remember them."
"Well, it doesn't make the most sense that they would just dump all their things off and leave." Skydust motioned to Azrael. "If this is the case... he would know how to reach them."
Saber sat back in the booth. "Honestly, im hoping he can't, but ill take anything.." she looked back at Azreal. "How much would it cost?"
"Its just how ive learned to see the world. Sucking you dry of everything you have, and giving nothing but chance in return." she answered. "What are you gonna try?"
I can take you on as a full time companion. You lend me your ear and company, I take you to see the Multiverse.
"That sounds awesome.." she thinks looking at the others in the bar "But that means leaving this, doesnt it?"
"You would appear to not even be sure if they're dead," said Azrael. "I've no desire to charge you money for potentially wasting your time."
"Any amount of time and money is useless with out someone to be proud of you. And thats what parents are for, right?" Saber replied firmly.
Azrael nodded. "I can attempt to call upon their spirits tonight. If they've died, you'll meet them. Otherwise... you have more searching to do."
