Mat chuckled a bit, not really flinching at all, "... Really now?" His cutie mark glowed a small bit as a faint red glow radiated from his eyes a bit as he tilted his head a bit, "... Not even if I fully cranked the dial, Azzy?"
Mat rolls his eyes, as his cutie mark fades and his eyes stop radiating the glow, "Then after. I want to fight you."
Mat chuckles, "... Trust me... it wouldn't be your fault. It would be mine. I am asking for the fight anyways."
Cricket heard enough of the exchange that she felt a need to warn the newcomer. "Listen, this is between you two, but I'm gonna warn you anyway. Azrael's blood is poisonous. Toxic enough to kill. Be careful."
Mat gave a short laugh at Az, "Tell me I failed after our fight is over." He looked over at Cricket, "... No worries. I don't plan on getting his blood on me anyways." Mat strolled off to the bar counter, taking a seat, putting more bits on the counter, "Another cider, Dusty."
Mat looked at Dusty, taking a drink of the cider before putting the mug down, "... I am calm. I just want to fight Az. Well... I wouldn't say want. I need to fight him."
Mat takes another drink, setting the mug down again, "... To see... how far I've come and how far I have yet to go."
Mat shakes his head, "Can't... I really have to fight Az. There's... also a bit of something I need to prove to myself... and honestly, it has to be now. I need to be able to fight Az and hang with him."
