Mat walked down the stairs to the bar, followed by Rush. He took a look at Maya and Dusty, giving a small wave, "Hello."
"Hey, Mat." Maya waved. "This your coltfriend? He's cute." Azrael wasn't paying enough attention to block the device. Whatever happened would happen.
Mat rolls his eyes, "I'm straight, Rush is my friend... you know." He looks back at Rush, "The one I saved from being killed by a dragon... He dropped by to poke me with a fork." Mat's eyes narrow at Rush. Rush gives a light chuckle, "Just making sure you were alive."

Azrael grunted, instantly trying like mad to yank the device off. "Nng... What the... BUCK is this?!" Maya shrugged. "Wasn't sure."
Rush chuckles, "I'm straight too, I just wanted to make sure Mat wasn't dead. He said he might do something stupid when he left." Mat rolls his eyes, "I say that all the time. Maya, Dusty, this is Rush. Rush, this is Maya and Dusty." Rush nods, giving a grin, "Nice to meet you."
The mare pulled down her hood, glaring at Azrael with pure hatred. "That... is the death that you've managed to hide from for far too long."
"And you as well." Dusty extended his hoof. Azrael growled and glared at the mare. "Is this a bomb? Are you so COWARDLY as to not attempt on my life directly?!"
"I'm not that stupid. I've seen what you can do." She shook her head. "I've known a lot of honorable ponies, monster. Most of them are dead now. Cowards live longer." She pulled her hood back up, vanishing from sight. "Say your goodbyes and get far away from anypony. That thing can level half a mile." With another smoke bomb, she was gone.
Rush shook Dusty's hoof, looking at them both, "You wouldn't have happened to see a cloaked pony wearing a silver metallic mask, have you?" Mat looked back at Rush, just glaring at him, "What?"
"Bull*squee!*..." Azrael figured it had been fused with his bone. He wasn't about to go out like this. He put his hoof to the device and winced as he started pushing, straining his bones. Maya shook her head. "Sorry."
Rush had a sweat as Mat continued to look at him. Rush nervously chuckled, "... What? It's not like I did anything." Mat stared at him, "... You stop looking for him, that can only lead to trouble. He's got the whole split personality thing, one might be nice and all, but the other... he'd kill you." Rush gave a light chuckle, "... I wouldn't say that."
"Try not to bring more trouble here," Maya requested. "Nnng..." Azrael continued applying pressure, his shoulder and several ribs snapping. He'd rip his own damn leg off if he had to. "I know you're out here... YOU ARE WORTHY OF SCAPHISM, YOU COWARDLY WENCH!" Dusty closed his eyes briefly. "Dear, I got a message from Az; remind me to talk to Blackout or Heart if they show up. I'm not sure why." Maya nodded. "Sure, babe."
Rush shakes his head, "I'm not, I'm just asking if you've seen him." Mat sighs, "... I wish there was a way to seal a split personality, honestly."
As if on cue, Heart song walked in. "Hey, did I leave Hope's blanket in the booth? Bo's sister made it. I'd hate to lose it."
"I don't think so," Dusty replied. "But I have something to pass on to you. Come here for a moment." It had to happen. Azrael used magic to float over a sharp rock and make numerous cuts around his shoulder.
Mat drug Rush over to an empty booth and picked him up, putting him down on the seat, "Talk, now." Rush chuckled a bit nervously, "About what?" Mat squinted at Rush, "Why you want to find him?"
