Saber muttered the words, "*squee!* tried to drug me.."

 

"which is why I asked for them to limit her powers, removing her ability to conjures and manipulate drugs and alcohol"

 

Nightshade looked up from her drink and noticed who was in the bar.
"You! You're the one from earlier! You stole my fight, you jerk!"

 

Etheran blinked. "wait, what?"

 

I said don't attempt to engage. Not to go and fight it.

 

"Clearly, you did not know how she thinks," Holly interjected. "She took it as a personal challenge."

Nightshade threw her hooves up in frustration. "I was WINNING!"

 

Then please explain how you have a corruption eating your shadow?

 

Nightshade grinned.
"What corruption?"
As soon as she spoke the words, the corruption disappeared.

 

As far as you can tell, it disappeared. That creature could travel through Time. Across different timelines which you can't touch without destroying reality, the corruption continues.

 

"huh. so that's what those things are. I caught one trying to mess with the balance between light and dark once. wonder if it ever got around to existing again."

 

Nightshade laughed.
"I know, but that's not really my problem, now is it?"

 

If your shadow is consumed, you are too.
Etheran, the mermonk was able to manipulate the corruptions, that was one of its anomolous properties.

 

"really? I wonder what they're doing with the thing. thanks for getting rid of it, though."
