Azrael glared at Winter. "*squee!*. You." He attempted to wrap a magic aura around her neck and squeeze.
Edmond: (clenches his katana and readys an attack) Arch: (Energy crackles around him) Winter Night, you are aware that if this bomb goes off here, it will injure a political dignitary? Which will not be taken lightly, by any definition. And it will demolish a sizeable chunk of the city, which is terrorism. And seeing as how there is a foreign dignitary in the radius, that's terrorism too.
Silver reached into his bag and drew a very special sword, a weapon that had cost him over three million bits to have made. Leaping forward, he cracked Az viciously in the face with the flat of the blade to disrupt his magic, then landed in front of Arch, holding the blade to the humanoid's throat. "DO NOT THREATEN MY WIFE!!!" Heart sighed. "Well *squee!*. This went downhill rather quickly."
Don't threaten a foreign dignitary. *A throbbing pulse is heard* I've called an entire army. And they've already been cleared by every agency but the oh so important Night Guard. *The blade of the sword starts vibrating*
Azrael dropped his magic. "Your wife put a high explosive on my body." He turned to glare at Silver. "I will retaliate how I wish. This bomb is coming off. Whether it explodes inside one of your bodies is up to you."
Silver spoke calmly. "I will remove the device. Winter will make no further attempts to prevent this." "Like hell I..." "NO FURTHER ATTEMPTS. Azrael, you will take no hostile action against her while you are in this hospital. Arch, you will tell your friend to PUT DOWN HIS SWORD, and you will order your army to withdraw. Do I make myself clear?"
Azrael reluctantly nodded. "Fine. But what happens outside this hospital is out of your control. She could have endangered more than just me with that bomb. Had Maya, Raven or Skydust come looking for me..."
Arch: I will not. You threatened me, and caused me harm, which can you stop that, it tickles (referring to the sword), and the army might not like that. They may be ripping the mountain from the planet for all I know, they just know that I'm injured, and I'm a dignitary of their empire. And as far as they see, you're holding me hostage.
"I gave you plenty of time to get somewhere safe," Winter said miserably. "I only wanted you dead!" Silver shook his head. "This sword isn't meant to kill you. It's meant to tear away your power and immortality. Do you understand what that means? I will not tell you again. Order your army to withdraw, and GET THE HELL OUT OF MY DAUGHTER'S ROOM." Outside, a force of Night Guards was gathering, waiting for a signal from Silver. If he gave the word, they would tear the invading army apart.
Oh yes, your little Night Guard. Did I mention this army is in the outer atmosphere? No, oh sorry. And as you can see, (the whole building starts shaking) I still have my power.
(This storyline was supposed to be simple and straightforward. Oh well, it's a roleplay, so I guess I'll just... role with it.) Silver nodded. "As you wish." With one swift motion, he plunged the sword into Arch's chest. It glowed white hot as the power draining enchantment took effect. Outside, riding in a modified high-altitude chariot, Blackout nodded as Silver sent the attack signal. "Night Guards! Attack! They think they're safe up there! Let's prove them wrong!" Winter looked at Az with genuine confusion. "You really don't understand? She is my daughter!"
Ooc: careful what you put on the forums.....language...... Your sword isn't working very well is it? I don't know, I can't tell. Edmond: (putting a sonic barrier around the door) uh uh. (Swings his sword around) I suggest you remove that from Arch-kun. *The city shakes as the ships power up their lasers, to carve the city from the planet's surface.* Arch: (Eyes glow white) I'd do as he says. (Grabs a hold of the blade and tries to remove it.)
"I understand that. And I'm sorry. But what would you rather I have done? Allowed her to take my life? Then go on to kill others in her rampage?! She started a fight to the death! And she lost! Be glad she is alive!"
(The sword is clearly working, whether Arch admits it or not.) Silver turned to Edmond. "Your master is undone. His army is being slaughtered as we speak. This is a private matter, boy, and this is a private hospital room. You're not welcome here. Get out." Winter shook her head. "I don't want to hear it! I don't care why you did it!"
"You say these things. But you must have no idea what it's like to have a pony keep coming, no matter how many bones you break. No matter how many times they get knocked down. Not backing off. Until you snap."
