The army isn't being torn to shreds, in space. The army is willing to tear your planet from orbit. Your princesses can't stop it either. And you can't stop me, you steal my power, you steal my life, there will be hell to pay. (Stomps his foot into the ground in pain, and the hospital room seperates from the building as the elements of nature are envoked to try to help Arch) Each time you kill me, I will come back. Again and again and again. Edmond has seen this. I've offered to help your daughter, you've refused. All I did was come to this world and you took it as a personal vendetta to kill me. (Raises his hands and the room settles back into place) My army arrived to save me, not for any other reason, had you not threatened me, they wouldn't have arrived. I only showed up here at this hospital to help my friends. Like I said, the only way Winter Night would've been harmed is if harm came to my friends. You kill me, it marks your entire philosophy as dangerous, is that what you want? A reason for every civilization more advanced than yours to hate you? So when you try to expand into the stars, and into other worlds, they slaughter your kind, and the ones you respect? If so, kill me. But know this, when I come back, I will shred this planet. And I will come back.
"Add onto that, everypony was attacking both of us. Asmodeus snapped my horn. Raven held me down. Skydust tried to tranquilize us. Maya suplexed her. So you see why I may have been pushed. And you still feel bent on killing me."
A mangled body struck the ground outside. Dozens more followed it. Silver half smiled. "Your army, I presume. I will be honest, Arch, I never wanted it to come to this. I still do not. It is my duty to keep Equestria safe. If you insist on continuing these displays of power, on proving that you can destroy ponykind... then what choice do I have? I am not unreasonable! I just wanted you to tone it down, and to to mind your own business!" Winter sighed. "I understand. I should have seen it before. He's turned her into one of his attack dogs." She reached into her cloak and pulled out a small crystal wand. "This will neutralize the adhesive. Silver can disarm the bomb. I'm sorry this all got so out of hoof." Pulling her hood up, she vanished. A moment later, the window opened and she was gone.
Azrael sighed and looked at his mangled, drippy foreleg, then sat back on his rear, relaxing. "This is why I don't prefer mares..."
And you still insist on making a reason to be wiped out. Hypocrite. You don't want ponykind wiped out, and you don't see a reason why it should be, but you insist on murdering me. I'll call the army off, on one condition, that sword is destroyed, along with my file at your headquarters. You have , oh five minutes. *A silver object glimmers in the air*
"Look outside. I do not need you to call the army off. It is too late for that. You underestimated the Night Guard, and now your soldiers are paying for your arrogance with their lives. So, here is my counteroffer. I will pull that sword from your chest while you still have some power left. You will order your surviving forces to flee, and I will order my Guard to allow them to escape with their lives. I will allow you to live, and I will allow your little friend with the sword to live, and all I ask in return is for you to leave this hospital so that I may concentrate on disarming the nuclear weapon over there."
Are you sure those are my soldiers? *The hollow shells start vanishing.* You don't understand me or where my power comes from. You never will. You better destroy the files, all of them, on me or my army will, along with whatever stands in its way. And you really think I would keep all my power in this mortal shell?
"Do what he says, Arch. Mostly because this whole thing has gotten absurd. But also because you're scaring the entire city. No doubt catching royal ire. I've seen the Princesses angry. And even I fear that."
The city? That bomb could shred the planet. Like I said, if Silver hadn't harmed me, the army would've left. He brought this upon himself, the only power I've shown through this little standoff was to put the building back together. If my file is destroyed and my power returned, I'll order a retreat and a pardon. Though I'll make sure the bomb won't destroy much more than maybe, me.
"Arch. The planet, over one pony, and a stack of paper. Call this off, or I will have no choice but to aid him, and the Princesses, in destroying you."
Like I said. I die, millions of inter dimensional civilizations come, and nuke the h out of this world. I don't want that to happen. If this is erased from time, which I know is possible, I'll let the bomb kill me, two birds with one stone, right?
Meanwhile, at the bar... "Hey Maya!" Blacky called to her. "Did you feel those really big shakes earlier?"
Silver, You give me my power back, I call it all off. You cover it up. The Guard is so influential, they could put out some story and memory spell to make it look like it was a new movie scene, me or Edmond could create said movie and put it out under the Guard's PR people, and the Guard is credited with making an awesome new alien invasion movie.
"You should be calling it off anyway. There are billions of sapient beings in this planet. And some of them are even decent." Azrael shook his head. "But you will not. You honestly believe you can lead the planet to destruction. And you're okay with that. I would say you're a monster. But monsters have souls." "That or Arch was being a prick and started a fight," Maya suggested.
I never said I was OK with it. I can't send a message with a sword in my chest, and my power draining to somewhere.
(Silver never touched Arch until after the army arrived. He only threatened him with it, and even that was only because Arch threatened Winter. ) "The planet? You godsdamned fool, it is a tactical grenade! It would take millions of them to destroy a planet!" He reached down and pulled out the sword. "Call off what is left of your army and you can have the sword. I have made my point."
