Well, then we better hurry. The dust has less than 49 minutes left before becoming Inert. Then my plan would be a bit, more complicated.
Silver sighed. "Does whatever you plan on doing with that dust put Equestria or the princesses at risk?"
Don't make me ruin any surprise. (Walking over and whispering only to Silver) Its a surprise for Maya, Dusty, and the child. If by putting this land at risk, you mean surprising a couple that own their own bar in the middle of scenic nowhere, then yes it'll be a major risk. Don't spoil it. (Out loud to every pony else.) Well, we don't have much time, and if anything needs bought, I will reimburse the purchaser.
Silver shrugged. "Fine. I will not interfere." Blackout spoke up. "There's a Black Forge research lab not far from here. They should have anything Maya doesn't." Silver looked at him warily. "Black Forge? As in..." "My father will not be there, Commander. Last I heard, he was out in the desert looking for a new iron source."
Well now that's all sorted. We do need to hurry though. The dust, which is Stardust that was exposed to both the vast ether and the void between worlds, if it becomes inert, then the work, (quieter) and pain, (normal voiced), required to get it will have been for naught. How much does this Black Forge charge for stabilizing compounds?
Blackout laughed. "Not a damn thing, when you're with me. I'm the heir to the company, whether I like it or not. Might as well get some use out of it."
All I need then is this. Do you mind getting it for me? (Hands over a small piece of paper that has Barium Chloride and the materials for homemade refractory bricks , along with PVC piping, written on it.) Unless you can also get me actual Refractory Brick.
Blackout took the list and teleported out of the bar. He returned a few minutes later with a dozen fire bricks, a 25kg bag of Barium Chloride, and three eight-foot sections of PVC pipe.
Now I just need that stove, fridge compressor, and the water, and lots of water. (Talking just to Blackout) we can't melt metals inside either. (Then to Silver) I have permission to enlist his help?
"We are off-duty," Silver replied. "He does not need my permission." Blackout nodded. "I know a few metalworking and forge spells. I'll help how I can."
Mainly putting the small forge together. But the heat will come from the stove parts, and compressor from a fridge.
"Oh yeah. If the baby could rip off that much of your beard, imagine how strong he'd be later in life..."
Alright then, (picks up some of the materials and carries them outside, to a flat, dry area of compressed dirt).
