(God. *squee!*ing. DAMMIT. Apparently I've come down with a case of illiteracy.) "Oh! Sorry, bit of cloud in the ear." She smiled. "Thank you, dear. You're Skydust, correct?"
"My son, Silver, told me about you." She sipped her wine. "Do you mind if I open a window? My husband is on the way, and I do not think he'll fit through the door."
"I am. My name is Nova. It's nice to meet you." Nova stood up and walked over to the large window by the bar. After a bit of struggling with the latch, she pulled it open.
"Likewise." She returned to her barstool to wait for Static, who was several minutes behind her. "How long has this place been here? I don't remember seeing it the last time I was in this area."
"And you should be. Ever have any problems with the wildlife? This area used to be swarming with cockatrices. Even the occasional hydra, but that was years ago."
Blackout, take the music box with you, give it to her. Pretty resistant to damage and scratching so, it should be fine if you keep it with you all day, if you must.
Blackout nodded. "I have to go home anyway, but thanks again. Why don't you run that thing in to Dusty? I don't think Maya came in today." His horn glowed, and he teleported away with a *crack*.
(Quieter) Like I'm leaving this crystal here? Not likely. (Inside the crystal is speckled with faint streaks of gold. Pinching thin air next to the crystal, and pulls out the gold into a thin strip of gold before putting the gold and the crystal away.) I'll keep it with me, but I will go inside.
Nova nodded. "There was a big hunt about twenty years back. The hunters in Hollow Shades got together to drive all the stray monsters back into the Everfree. I didn't realize they'd come this far west." (I have been trying ALL *squee!*ING DAY to post this. *squee!*ing railgun error.)
"I recall that, actually. I think I recall Azrael over there dragging a manticore away before we built. Besides that, nothing too dangerous."
The floor began shaking, and moments later, the head and neck of a large blue dragon came in through the open window. "Ah, there you are. I thought you would be waiting outside?" Nova shrugged. "I was thirsty. Besides, I needed to get the window opened before you tried to stick your head in here. Skydust, allow me to introduce my husband, Static. Static, this is Skydust. He's one of the nice ponies that have been putting up with our son and granddaughter lately." Static nodded. "I thank you for your tolerance, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance."
"Likewise." Dusty smiled, as if this was just a thing that was normal. Old as he was, it could have been at some point. "I would shake your claw, but I doubt it fit though." Azrael eyed the dragon. "Don't you break anything."
