Xion: I haven't quite figured it out yet but soon. If by any chance you intend to mass produce, be careful with the plasma, machines can't handle it. Just an FYI, so your factory or where ever doesn't end up a smoking crater. And make sure before you energize it, that no pony is nearby, else they could end up a smoking crater. Basically, you don't want smoking craters.
"well that is er, interesting" she said blinking. Midnight looked confused "But don't you er, lay eggs though.... So how does that work? Also how did you leave the hive?" she said confused. Didn't Chrysalis control all of the Changelings?..... Midnight levitated the stone, "Its either a world rendering explosive when you tap it or has a gem inside" she remarked, she tapped it breaking the outer case revealing the gem inside. "Well that's disappointing, I was half hoping for a explosion" she grumbled giving it to Raven. Midnight blinked, that was one powerful pony, not as powerful as herself, though he was cutting it close. "Is that a friend of yours? Maybe you might not tell him about me doing that thing to your wings? I like mine where they are" she said to raven. She pulled out her void explosion stone, just in case.
(Sword beeps and glows with the energy alerting Edmond to the presence of the explosive stone) hmm? oh, must be malfunctioning due to that energy surge. (Sits down in the corner, and pulls the lamp over and grabs a small tool kit from his robes. Turning on the lamp and placing his sword on the table, and starting to recalibrate the sensors.)
Blackheart nodded. "Thank you, I'll be sure to have the proper safety protocols in place. Good scientists are hard to find, I'd hate to lose any." ******************************************************** Cricket tilted her head. It was a rather personal question, but a fair one. "I shapeshifted a pony, reproductive organs and all. I wore an enchanted amulet during the pregnancy that locked the transformation and prevented me from accidentally un-shifting. " She sighed. "As for why I'm not with hive, it just comes down to luck. My back was broken when we invaded Canterlot. The blast that scattered the others didn't effect me while I was unconscious. I couldn't move, couldn't escape, so I shifted into a pony and pretended to be an injured survivor. Blackout was the one who found me. He thought I was just another homeless pony, so he brought me home with him while I healed. You can probably figure out the rest from there."
Midnight glances at the sword, and her horn glows slightly, she blocks its sensor from picking up her stone, she had much worse things then explosive stones. She then began to juggle several explosive stones, testing the swords sensors.
Midnight made a disgusted face, "eww, that is rather... odd. Didn't your young try and kill you though?" she asked blinking, she didn't understand that part, the young always replaced the old, that what happened in the shadow world anyway. The weak perished and the strong prospered.
Azrael overheard, glancing over to Midnight. "What did you do to her wings, shadow pony?" Raven cringed. "Crap." Midnight should probably lie, lest a bar brawl break out that Asmo wouldn't stop.
Midnight glanced at him, and stopped juggling the shadow stones "I re-decorated them, what's it to you? You want something of yours redecorating?" she asked. She levitated his sword up and drained its color, leaving it various shades of grey and black. "that's better" she smirked. She dropped one of the stones onto the floor and stepped onto it absorbing its magic. Causing her form to glow darker, "how about i re-decorate your body? A nice shadow glow would suit you well" she remarked.
*Edmond's sword flashes with a brilliant golden glow as an ancient voice, long since quieted in this place, rings out, "ENOUGH!", and continuing to glow, returning to Edmond*
Cricket stared at the odd pony for a few moments before replying. "Uh... no. She's only a year old. She's really not in any position to... why would she want to kill me? I am confused by this line of questioning."
Edmond: (Staring at the sword in shock) T-t-that was The Architect's voice.....but how????? (Utterly confused due to shock, even though the answer is quite obvious, part of Architect's consciousness managed to survive by latching onto the energy left behind, which was now attached to the sword, but only a part, not enough to bring him back fully, at least not in a sustainable fashion.) Xion: That's good, but I expect to have a prototype of a working energy converter by sundown. Griev: (Chuckling slightly, and relaxing his power) Seems a piece of him was able to survive.
Blackheart nodded. "Excellent. So other than that, how goes the project? You seem to have made considerably progress in the last few days."
"Ohhhh, well in my world its based around the young replacing the old, so when your offspring get to a certain age, they just replace you" she remarked. "Though there are not really that many offspring since you got to challenge your way to find a mate, you don't just pick anyone at random" she remarked. Midnight looked at him taking a step closer, she frowned at him. Was he just simply being difficult, Or was he challenging her. She blinked, maybe the latter. She glanced at Raven, "This you're mate? Hes rather, Bold" she snorted. She stepped closer, opening her wings to make herself bigger. "Well maybe, i'll redecorate that area" she growled pointing to his face.
Raven rolled her eyes. "That's my uncle, sir or madam." Azrael growled and smacked her hoof away. "I'm already not fond of you." Asmo shrugged and grabbed himself a bowl of popcorn.
Midnight snorted, "You're uncle?, well that's just simply horrifying" she remarked, trying not to be embarrassed. "Why are you so unfond of me? Is it because of the wing breaking I did? Or do you just not like shadow ponies?" she asked.
Midnight snorted, "What you going to do about it? hmmm?" she growled. "You gonna hit me? You might want to rethink that" she hisses back at him.
