She shrugged. "Good question, hon." She turned to Architect. "Before I forget, there's no weapons allowed here. Put the sword back, dude, please."
"Thank you." She replied. Saber took a very thin strip, and folded it with her card inbetween. "There, now ill know which is which." She then slid the tape back to Maya.
"Yep." Maya took the tape back under the counter. "So Saber, you seem pretty chill. Interested in any potions with legally questionable effects?"
Holly nodded to the blue... Alicorn? That was unusual... and let out a few low barks. If she spoke pony, she would have explained to him that she'd lived with ponies since she was a small pup, and that she only chewed on them when work required it. If the Alicorn spoke dog, he'd have understood that that was the barks meant. Of course, as far as she knew, that wasn't the case.
Skydust tilted his head. He quietly spoke, "Why in the world would work require you to chew on ponies? If I may ask, of course."
"Tell you what." Maya leaned in closer to Saber. "Sex change, insane psychedelic, shapeshifting, name an effect, I can brew it. Explosives, too, if you... swear your soul to Azzy here you won't do any bad stuff with them."
In answer to Skydust's question, Holly tilted her head back to show the Night Guard pendant she wore around her neck.
"Depends on the potion," Maya told her. "Anything that changes your body lasts about three hours. If it makes you trip, I usually design it to last twelve." Skydust looked at the pendant. "Oh, Night Guard. I never would have guessed."
"Does the anything bad part include breaking the law cause i really dont want to give my soul away for free.."
Saber places Arch's card in front of Maya. "In that case, how much will it be for two phsycadelics, and two sex changes? With cider of course."
"Ten per psychedelic, fifteen per sex change, that comes to fifty Bits. That okay?" She put her hoof up on the card.
"Alright, cool." Maya took the card and swiped it before sliding it back to her. She gave Saber a bottled cider before going beneath the counter. "Your free saddlebags'll be ready soon, loyal customer," she called up.
Maya stood back up and set a pair of saddlebags on the bar counter. "Got your potions. Psychedelics are the pink ones, sex change is white. Also tossed in a cancel for the psychedelic. Careful, that stuff's like super shrooms."
