"Sounds fun, but what would my handicap be? I could strap my wings down and only use Earth Pony styles, I guess. Or maybe I could wear a blindfold!"
Zeran raised a hoof, then frowned. "you know, me and Etheran never really came up with a name for it.... before I met them I was self-taught, but for the past couple decades they've been teaching me styles from throughout the multiverses"
"I was top in my class at the Guard Academy and was the youngest Night Guard in fifty years. I'm a master of seven different styles, and trained in a dozen others." "That sounds like bragging," Holly commented. "Maybe a little."
Zeran looked at Selena. "yeah. why? are they a celebrity? I was under the impression they avoided becoming too well known"
"Whispering Wing is my preferred style, but I've also mastered Raging Cyclone, Storm Hoof, Razor Wing, Hurricane Wing, Lunar Hoof, and Celestial Hoof." She paused. "I've learned as much as I could of the Unicorn, Earth Pony, Zebra, and Griffon styles, but a Pegasus can never master them. I'd love to learn the Crystal Pony styles, but I've yet to find anypony willing to teach me. After King Sombra, they're still wary of warriors."
He nodded. "Indeed. Though I do prefer EJJ, it's the one I've taught Maya. It's perfect for strong ponies like us, or weak ponies like Skydust."
