"Uhh..." Maya pointed to Nightshade. "You. Security?" "She did kind of knock me into the ceiling," said Azrael. "If she can do that to me, she must be capable enough. Maybe enough to take you out, Dreaded One." Maya shrugged. "Doubt that part. But need a weekend job?"
Maya smirked. "Good answer. Just show up at opening, kick out troublemakers, and beat down really bad troublemakers. Easy peasy, right? Also, I guess you should ID ponies you think might be kids."
"Yep. And Saber." Maya leaned closer to her over the counter. "I might just crash with you tonight. I'm soooooo exhausted..."
"Well Iguess we'll see." Saber bolted out of the bar, and a few seconds after a loud screech was heard as she sped off in her car.
Nightshade opened her day planner and began making notes. "Okay... I think I can talk Cricket... er... Heart Song into taking over my beginner classes. She's more than skilled enough to..." "She's good, but she has a foal," Holly interjected. "True, but Hope is nearly a year old now. I'll offer to pay for the foalsitter." "Just get somepony trustworthy. Changeling hybrids aren't exactly accepted yet." "Blackout is a Night Guard, and one of the most powerful Unicorns I know. Nopony would risk hurting his daughter." "Fair enough, but do you even know any foalsitters?" "Huh. That's an issue." Nightshade looked up from her planner. "Anypony know of a good foalsitter?"
Maya raised her hoof. "I nominate Azrael." "Bull*squee!*," Asmo cut in. "You want this dead horse looking after the kid? You need someone responsible, like me!"
"Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure I'd trust either of you to keep a houseplant alive, much less a foal."
"I take that the wrong way," said Asmo. "I'll have you know that most of my friends are still alive." Azrael shook his head. "Refrain from employing him."
