"So you know the ropes, I'm sure. Here." Maya pulled the key to the bar from under her tongue and offered it up to Blackout. "Sorry if this is all crazy sudden, dude."
"I assume you have a pricing list somewhere? Eh, I'll find it. You go have fun." He winked at Nightshade. "C'mon, My Little Bouncer, let's do this."
"Sure thing. You... well, just don't break anything." Maya flapped her wings until excess water was flung off and flew up through the cloud hole Night left.
Blackout greeted the groggy pony. "It's morning. Looks like you fell asleep at the bar. So... can I get you anything?"
Blackout poured the drink and put a pot of coffee on. He also found the bar's pricing book sitting beside the coffeemaker. "Here's your ale. Coffee 'll be a few minutes. Hey, Shady, do you want anything?" Nightshade nodded. "Coffee when it's ready. Connemara, with the good stuff."
A young, dark grey bat pony with a pink mane walked into the bar, acoustic guitar and small satchel strapped to her body. She stopped about half way to the bar counter and frowned. "You're not Maya..."
"I am not," Blackout agreed. "And you look a little young to be in a bar," Nightshade added. "I need to check your ID."
"Pssh. Don't let the sparkling, young eyes fool you, girl." The bat pony pony pulled an ID from the satchel. According to the card, she was 21, an organ donor, from Canterlot, and named Raven.
Nightshade returned the ID and sat back down. "Alright, enjoy yourself. Hey, Black, what's the ETA on the coffee?" "Less than a minute." He glanced over at Raven. "Can I get you anything?"
Blackout poured two cups of coffee, one of which he set in front of Zeran, the other he poured a generous amount of whiskey into before giving to Nightshade.
Raven walked over and sat up at a bar stool, leaning her guitar beside her. "Well, I'm here, might as well get coffee. Lots of sugar."
Blackout got her her coffee, then poured a cup for himself. Nightshade looked over at the guitar. "Nice guitar. You any good?"
