"Well, look at you! Tentacles, razor teeth... are those scales...? I've never seen anything like you! Ponies love new and exciting!"
"Oh, I get it." He began intentionally overacting, speaking like Calculon. "Hire me for what's on the outside! Make the freak star in your horror shows!" He changed his form to that of Marq. "I look like an Equestrian, and suddenly... nopony gives a damn." He cleared his throat. "Actually, that sounds fun. Just don't call me kid. I'm like middle-aged, I think."
Marq slapped him on the back. "I like your style, sport. Thanks for reminding me just how good-looking I am."
"I think I just developed a stronger gravitational pull. ANYWAY, what'd you have in mind for me? Demon? Lab experiment?"
"How about crazy and violent antihero? Superhero movies are big right now!" "You're still trying to get that made?" Nightshade asked, annoyed.
"Yes," Nightshade said flatly. "I do believe that's what he was talking about. Seriously, Marq, how long have been trying to get that green-lit? Ten years now?" "It'll work, I keep telling 'em! We just need the right actor! Maybe even get you back on the screen as the love interest, eh?" She paled, a remarkable feat for a white pony. "Uh... no. Nope. Not gonna happen."
OOC: Lolz, to @Mister Asmodeus Griev: Eh, I'm going to take a nap. (Walks to the bedrooms and goes to take said nap)
"Yeah, long as I don't have to wear *squee!*in' spandex, I'm down. And no, not a chance. She's clearly made for that guitar bat. Don't want her to get confused."
Blackout nodded. "Yup. In a few hours. Can I get you anything?" Marq looked at Nightshade sternly. "Guitar bat? That's why you called me? What did I tell you about mixing business and pleasure?" Nightshade sighed. "I had no idea she was interested until after I called you. I was just trying to help out a mare with raw talent and a run of bad luck. Well... the finder's fee was also on my mind, to be honest, but I really did just want to do something nice for a change."
"Well, prison, for starters." Nightshade shook her head. "We talked about it. She's almost eighteen, so we're just going to take some time to get to know each other. If she's still interested in a month, we'll see where it goes." She looked out the window, where the crowd had swelled to nearly a thousand. "I doubt she'll stick around that long."
Asmo shrugged. "Hey, never know. Kid might need it. Plus, it's not illegal unless you, you know, do stuff. Trust me, I'm a lawyer."
"Maybe so, but I'm not sure I can give it to her. She's so young, and she's already had a rough life. I don't want to hurt her."
