After Snow knocked, nopony came to the door. She saw lights in the windows to the left of the door, though.
Snow bit her lip and opened the door, heading towards the light source with as much caution as possible, heart racing.
"Thanks, Dr." said Haze, as she walked towards the door, and out into the hallway. As they got out of the room, and out of sight of the door, Haze began to break into a faster pace, still curious about what could be causing the noise, wanting to listen closer. "Something's not right." She looked behind to check Dark was still following, and stepped outside, holding the door open. "It could just be nothing, but... I needed a second opinion."
On the way outside, Haze and Darkshine bumped into Snow Mark. Snow thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye down a hallway, but when she looked, the hall was empty.
Snow looked at the two who had bumped into her, "Well well well!" she said, "Look who've we got here! Tell me, did you even try looking for me?"
"Hey snow. You should have stayed with us." Haze was a little irritated that she'd ran into them, but since she was here, she might as well tell Snow too. Haze signalled towards the asylum. "Guys listen- Can you hear it?" Her eyes darted between the two, waiting for them to respond. Surely, it musn't be that only she could hear this strange noise!
Both Snow and Dark, now that they were outside, heard the same faint noise that Haze heard; shouting coming from the Asylum.
"All right...Like a cold...You just let it run its course...OK..." Tyro said, trying to decide whether he was for or against. Sure, it didn't sound like a good idea to just encourage the madness to continue like it was just a phase they were going through but it still made some sort of logical sense. If it worked, what's the problem, right? He decided to keep the debate quiet for now. "So, if your not humouring them now, what are you doing?" He gives the Doctor a stern look as though waiting for a evil cackle or something.
Dark Shine seemed to be intruiged. "I... Dont ike this... I noticed the dr seemed to look suspicous. Chances are, he may have something to hide. Whatever it is, it is likely over there." He stopped next to Haze and shut the door behind him. "I am suspicous myself. We came out of nowhere, and we get free accommodations?" He tapped his chin. "What do you think?"
"I think we should group together and all investigate" said Haze. "We're expected back inside, and alone we wont be able to defend ourselves that well, I don't think. if something did attack us... Well, we're not exactly the best of fighters- How'd we defend ourselves?"
"I think we should try and up our numbers, get some stronger people with us first." Haze glanced back to the asylum, and then turned towards the door. "Perhaps we should tell the others. Maybe we should meet at the back at... 11, maybe?"
Dark Shine motioned to the door. "Before we head in, we are agreed that we meet out back at 11 and try to get the others to come with us." He nodded then went up by the door waiting for the others.
"Right. Make sure to spread the word, everypony, we've got to take a look." Haze followed to the door. "How'll we tell those who're asleep? They're bound to be peeved when we wake them..."
Meanwhile in Crashsite's room, there was no sleep to speak of. He tossed and turned more (thankfully without falling off the bed this time), put his pillow over his ears, and tried nearly everything to get to sleep, but he could always just barely hear the noise. As Haze followed Dark Shine to the door, she heard a click from the left of the door. When she looked, though, all she saw was an empty window with a bush beneath it. Also, another pony was walking down the path to the Asylum. He saw the group of three outside the door. (This is Ramza everypony, I don't know when or if he will join, but just in case I put him in here.) The professor eyed Tyro for a moment, then chuckled at the look on his face. "It's nothing terrifically interesting, but if you want to know, we simply locked them up in cells for now. We haven't quite perfected our newest treatment plan, you see. Lots of kinks to work out. It's quite secret as well, as we wouldn't want some other asylum to get wind of our ideas before we've had the chance to patent them, now would we??" He smiled at Tyro. "Not that I think you are spies, but word does get around quickly." "Doctor, don't you get nervous working with these patients? I mean, you said sometimes they act up; aren't you afraid one of them will hurt you?" interrupted Silver. "Well, I really don't have that many problems with them. You see, in most cases, you can't even tell that a pony is insane until you really get to know them! That's what I love about treating them; there's just one little thing different about them, that makes them "insane". Otherwise, they're just like the rest of us!" He grinned at the assembled ponies. "There's really no reason to be afraid of them!" When the Dr. grinned, Lightning was a bit unnerved. He didn't quite know why, but the hairs on his back rose a little.
Haze walked up to the place where she'd heard the click. She rustled the bush slightly to check nothing was hiding in it, finding nothing inside. Maybe it was just her... No, she was sure something'd been there, it can't have just been her imagination. "Did you guys-" As she looked 'round to the others, she saw that they seemed to have been completely unaware of the noise. "... Never mind, it doesn't matter- Lets go in." Haze disliked this place. It felt eerie- and she could feel eyes on them.
