He saw the stairs, and Violet descending them. Making sure to keep out of sight, he waited for her to go through the door at the bottom, and then slunk down the stairs quietly after her. When Lucky got to the doorway at the bottom of the stairs and looked through, he saw Violet...nowhere? There are a few doors in the hallway, and one of them was open with light coming from the doorway. But, when Lucky peered in, nopony was inside. She couldn't possibly have made it to the end of the hall in that little time, even if she ran full speed; and if she had, she would have made enough noise for Lucky to hear her running. It was like she had just disappeared...
Being cautious to keep out of her line of sight, he stalks the mare down the stairs. As he gets to the bottom, he is surprised to find that she seems to have vanished. Noticing several doors, he spots one with a light shining through it. Approaching this carefully, he peers in, frowning with frustration that nopony is inside. He has no idea where Violet could have gone, and so he trudges back up the stairs and enters the bedroom. An idea suddenly comes to him, which is that he explored around the paintings earlier, but never got a good look at what the paintings were of. "Hey, I need a lookout really quick. I've got something I want to check out, and I've been warned by Violet not to be snooping."
Haze didn't know what to ask the doctor. On the spot, she just couldn't think of much to say at all. She really should prepare for these questions... At least she'd finally informed Tyro of what was happening with out being overheard though. Haze binned the apple core ad looked back down at the dish. She picked up another apple and started silently nibbling away at that too, feeling unable to respond.
Dr. Mentis chuckled at Haze. "No questions? That's quite all right. Some ponies just don't have much interest in the kind of things we do here." He looked over at Tyro. "Any more questions from you? I know you're an inquisitive one. But, if you don't have any, it's perfectly fine. You'll be meeting the staff tomorrow morning for breakfast, and perhaps you'll have thought of some questions to ask by then." He said to Haze again, "If you only came back in here because you felt obligated, you may be off to bed now, if you'd like. I don't mean to keep you up." He smiled warmly.
Haze? Not interested? Haze decided to play with it though, to keep suspicions low. "Thanks, Doctor. Sorry..." Haze finished the second apple, then made her way to the door. Opening the door, she turned to Tyro and Doctor Mentis. "Night guys. Thanks again for having us, Doctor. And see ya later, Tyro" She turned and exited. Haze climbed the stairs to find Dark and the other ponies waiting. "I've told Tyro, he should be up here soon. He's currently talking to the Doctor. Are we all set? Shall we go wait for him outside the Asylum?" Haze was quite eager to grab some more of that fresh, night air.
Zephyr sighed heavily. "Why do you guys have to be so damned paranoid? Can't we just relax and enjoy the free room and food?"
"Da. i agree with Zephsky. Free alcahol and food, what is wrong with this?" Dave started doing press-ups as part of his morning exercises
"Err... Well... We just feel... Something missing- Something's wrong. Aaaand... We've been hearing strange stuff from the asylum. Ad why not? I mean, we're "adventurers" aren't we? Or", Haze said, turning towards Dave, "Is Leetle baby girl scared?" Haze paused, and stopped, as she thought something. The thought, it gained her a lump at the back of her throat, shivers down her spines as she recalled that someone had been missing. "When was the last time you guys saw Silver?" ((He's not been Rp'd for about five pages now, legion. Is he still just in the dining room? Or has something... Terrible happened? ... Have I just ruined a chunk of the story?))
Dave got up onto his hind legs and flexed his muscles "Luck for you, I don't hit girls. Especially not pretty ones." Dave winked at haze and smirked before continuing his workout with some more press-ups.
"Err...Ooo...Er..." Tyro exaggerated as he made a great pantomime out of thinking of an answer. Ge gave up valiantly, shaking his head. "I think I got most of what I wanted to know. Anyway, I think it's time O go and sleep off this feast you put out for...well, me, I guess. No pony else stuck around to eat it so I'll be heading up to bed." He steps down and makes his way out of the room. "Thank you very much! Good night." He calls over his shoulder. The strangest thing is that most of the dishes in front of where Tyro sat haven't had much taken out of them. A few leaves and things here and there but nothing to suggest he would be full after dining heavily.
Zephyr flew in between Haze and Dave. "Woah woah, that's no way to speak to a friend. Apologize or no booze for you, and you know I can make that happen." he said with a smile. "Besides, if you guys truly believe this place is dangerous or whatever, then it's best to keep relations among ourselves good."
Dave got up and faced Zephsky "Are you challenging me?" Dave was not about to be put in his place by some small guy "You couldn't lift 20Kilos without breaking a sweat"
Zephyr smiled. "You misunderstand, I don't intend on butting heads with you mate. I meant exactly what I meant when I said I could keep any and all booze from you, and again I say, you know that would be effortless for me. You do remember my job around here, don't you?" said the thief. "Now put away your testosterone, I'm not into men and these girls don't seem that into you." Zephyr spun around, smacking his nose with his tail as he did so and pointed down the hall. "Now as for Silver, if he won't come to us, we'll have to go to him. Come on guys.
Dave was sure the girls secretly liked him and completely ignored Zephsky's comment on then "Fine I ill come for the booze" Dave grunted and trotted towards Zephsky
The curiosity of what might be on the paintings is starting to really dig its claws into his mind. He anxiously waits for the machismo act between Zephyr and Dave to finish, his eyes constantly darting toward the door. As Zephyr finally starts to exit, he lets out an exasperated sigh. "I also need to investigate those paintings in the room I was in. I never got a good look at what was actually on them, and I need to know!" he remarks as he starts making his way down the stairs.
(Silver went to band-practise ) "Ok then. If you guys are done having pointless arguements, we can wait outside for Tyro. Silver... I dont know when he'll get here or there so somepony choose what to do." He smiled as he pointed to the door. "Remember to try not to get caught."
"is not problem if i get caught, is there problem if i get caught." Dave smirked and casually trotted out of the room towards the bedrooms "we have not see the staff, do they exist? I'm going to look in bedrooms"
Spoiler: OOC Apology Lol, sorry about that again, guys. Silver is still in the room with the Doctor, I just haven't been RPing him because I keep forgetting to. Mostly he was just put in as part of the story... but there's the answer to your question, DoDo. Really, just think of him as another character in the story, not my character. But I'll try to remember to mention him more often. As Tyro exited the room, he heard Silver sigh in releif. "Finally! Now I can ask some questions!" They quickly began talking in terms and words that Tyro had little understanding of. _________________________________________________________________________
((Going back to the Dave thingeh) As Dave finished his reply, Haze stood back, mortified. Did he... Just wink at her? Eww, eww, ewww- He wasn't serious, was he? It sent shivers down her spine, twice as strong as what she'd just experienced a second ago. Haze didn't respond- She just tried to forget about the whole ordeal. ((AAAANDA Back; So... Silver's just in the dinning room? I wonder, how're we gonna tell him...?)) "I think I last saw him in the Dinning room" said Haze. "But I haven't seen him since me and Dark stepped outside and bumped into Snow. Maybe we should check to see if he's back there again."
Tyro trots out into the night. The thick black night felt good in his lungs looking over the areas outside as he trots towards the 'back of the Asylem'. Why they wanted him there he hadn't any idea, frankly. Maybe they were having second guesses about staying here. The pony running things was a tad odd but he seemed civil enough. Although, that moaning was a little unsettling... He stops in a spot that might be thought of as 'the back' and waited, surveying the near pitch black, cut up by blades of light.
