Dark Shine shook his head. "I reckon we should just meet up with Tyro outside. Heck, you never know, he could be waiting."
"He might be, y'know" Haze responded. "He might be." "It's just he's been missing for hours- i'm a bit worried about him. How about you meet Tyro, and I'll check where he is? I'll just be a few seconds behind."
Dave casually walked towards the bedrooms thinking about vodka... lots of vodka. when he arrived wt the bedrooms he walked towards the nearest door and quietly opened it, peering inside.
The bedroom Dave looked inside was empty. However, he did hear some mumbling in the neighboring room. He couldn't quite make out the exact words, though.
Dark Shine nodded, seeing that one way or another, it was likley Haze would get her way. "Just dont get caught. Come on guys, lets go out back to find Tyro. Just keep quiet, and carefull."
He starts inching out the door already, hearing the plans occurring around him. "Alright, if you all want to go find Tyro, then I can try to investigate that room with all the paintings on my own then. I'll catch up with all of you here shortly." He makes his way back down the stairs as quietly as he could, and goes back to the room with the paintings he wandered into earlier. This time, he focuses more on what the paintings depict.
Dave trotted towards the neighbouring room, and carefully opened the door just wide enough for his head to fit through so he could get a look inside.
((Are you guys going to the back of the asylum yet?)) Haze creeped back down into the hall, and, hugging the wall beside the corridor, leaned round to check if anyone was around. She saw nobody. She tip-toed up to the door to the dining room. She couldn't hear anything from here, so she opened the door slightly and listened. She did so slowly and silently- She didn't want the staff to know they were out of bed. She listened, trying to hear whether SIlver was still inside...
Dark Shine made his way towards the stairs, looking around incase of any staff finding him. He then motioned the others over.
Dave Dave couldn't see inside the room, as it was almost pitch black. But he could, however, hear a voice mumbling something. Spoiler: Mumblings Hands...h-hands...where are my hands...? He also heard rustling coming from inside the room. Haze Haze could indeed hear the Professor and Silver talking. She could even understand what they were saying, though that didn't do her much good. It wasn't particularly interesting stuff, and it was all in Psycological jargon. (AKA: unimportant info. I don't know enough Psycho-jargon to actually put what they are saying and have it make sense.) While she was silently standing outside the door, she heard a very soft noise behind her. When she looked behind her, however, she saw nopony. (And this is where I would test intelligence, just putting it out there this once. Just remember, if I put words in your pony's mind, they aren't neccisarily true. They're just based off your pony's intelligence.) Obviously I'm being followed, she thought. Lucky As soon as he looked at the paintings, he could easily see what he had missed earlier; every single painting in this room was a portrait of a pony. Judging from the looks of them, they were old, but not ancient. Likely somewhere around as old as he was, maybe a little older.
Haze stood still for a few seconds, looking behind herself, down the corridor. Where she was stood, there were two doors to her left, closed. If something had been spying, it was unlikely that they'd have gone through the doors- She'd have heard the door click- and she was certain there was nothing else in the corridor. If anything was with her, it had gone through the hall. Well, she'd found Silver. That's what she'd come for, to check on him. But now she'd heard that noise she couldn't get her mind of it. She was too concerned she was being spied on too think about trying to start some sort of diversion... She walked back towards the hall, slowly and quietly, and leaned around the corner to see if she could find anything there...
Before Haze reached the end of the hall, she heard a muffled grinding, rumbling sound from around the corner, like something heavy sliding on the floor. When she did look around the corner, she saw two open doors with light coming out of them; one was the closest door to her on the left, and another was a bit further down the hall on the right. All the rest of the doors in this hall were closed.
Tyro just sits in the dark, singing quietly under his breath. "It's a god-awful small affair...To the mare with the mousey hair. De-de-dee-de-de...."
Haze looked down the hall, stalling for another few seconds. That noise... Reminded her of a Necromorph she had to fight... Oh, how she'd played too much dead space. But even as pathetic the thought, it made the atmosphere feel all the more eerie. She remembered that Lucky was looking at the paintings again. For what reason, she didn't know, it was unlikely anything would be found there. Maybe he just liked it in there. Was that door on the right the painting room? If lucky was in there and he'd left the door open, he could be in danger, what with something being with them. She took a heavy inhale, and inched her way towards the open door to the left, leaning against the wall, shaking. What would she see around this corner? She slowly leaned and looked through, into the room, her heart pounding.
Dave pushed the door wide open and reached for some sort of light switch "Show Yourself!" Dave Shouted into the room
Haze When Haze looked into the room, she saw...just the room. There was a bookcase, a sofa with several pillows that didn't look like they'd been disturbed (or perhaps they'd been arranged recently), and several wooden chairs. There was a chandelier with the candles lit, but most of the rooms in the house seemed to have lights on, especially the rooms with the doors left open. Nopony, and more importantly nothing, was in the room except her. Dave Almost immediately after Dave shouted into the room, there was a scream and a thud, with lots of rustles. Dave fumbled for a lightswitch, but it took him a few seconds to remember that most of the rooms in the mansion, especially the smaller rooms like studies and bedrooms, were lit with candles and fireplaces. A shaky, terrified voice came from inside the room; it sounded muffled. "W-wh-who's th-there?!"
Haze didn't like the fact that candles were left un-attended. That can be dangerous. Nonetheless, she decided not to bother looking around the room, there was nopony in there, and even if there was some secret passage or something, she didn't feel like exploring it. But she was sure that the door hadn't been open earlier... Haze closed it, slowly and quietly. If anything was in there that she'd missed and it intended on following her, it'd likely have to open the door now, in which case Haze'd notice it. Can't be too careful... Haze worked her way up the corridor again, passing the doors to reach the only other open one. She couldn't remember if this was the painting room, and it was too dark for her to know how many doors in this was. So she heavily inhaled once more, still quite scared to see what was inside, and peeped around the corner again, hoping that she'd see Lucky...
Dark Shine went down the stairs and looked for the exit, so he could get out the back. How big can this place be?!
Dark Shine and Company Dark and the rest of the ponies following him made their way to the back, to meet up with Tyro. Nothing particularly interesting happened on the way, although Dark did take a few wrong turns. They made it there eventually nonetheless, however, and found Tyro, apparently bored out of his mind. Haze Haze saw Lucky and his paintings in the room, to her releif. She did not hear the door behind her open, nor did she hear anything else suspicious. Dave Dave stormed into the room, and immediately tripped over a figure lying prone on the floor. The figure screamed again, then started flailing around. Whatever it was, it seemed to be under a bunch of bedsheets. "Ahh! Go away! Stop!! What are you doing?!!" screamed the thing under the bedsheets. It continued screaming as Dave dragged it out of the room by the bedsheet.
