She giggle and looks you over, giving a light whistle "You look gorgeous, hun!" She then turns back to me, I lift my head and wave awkwardly "H-hello, It's a pleasure to meet you" I hug you back closely, and she holds her paws together next to her face "Awww, aren't you two adorable, and congratulations! Anyway, I mustn't hold you up for too long, I assume you're here for those little darlings" She says as she looks inside the cages. We both nod with a smile.
I smile "thanks and yeah, little 'Tia and Woona." I say, opening the carriers to let them out, they both sniff around Jenna and instantly mewed at her and then started purring. I smile "Now you be good for auntie Jenna, sweethearts" They both purr and mew at me. I smile as I see Jenna's expression at their youthfulness.
She squeaks as the little ones come out "Awww aren't they adorable, and so friendly! I'm sure they'll like this place in no time" She says petting them both with a smile. I turn to you and kiss on the cheek "I'm sure as well. This place looks really nice." I say looking around a bit.
I smile ad kiss you back, "I know so, Jenna is just like you dear, she has a way with animals" i giggle as the two kittens start to chase each others' tails. I smile at Jenna, "I just recently moved here, the city was becoming too judgmental for me and too noisy. Xaniith and I met at the cafe, the waitress there was the one who kind of hooked us up" i giggle a little
I look at the kittens playing with her and back at you with a smile. "Yeah, it sure seems like it." Hearing you tell her your story, I look and and blush again. "She seems to have a keen eye for matches" I say, staying close to you.
Jenna waves her paw as smiles "Oh of course. You go have your fun, these darlings will feel right at home in no time." She looks down and pets them "Say goodbye to your mummy and daddy. They're going to have some alone time." She says as she winks at you, lifting them up and carrying them away to the wide enclosure, after turning to face us again and giving us a nod. I turn to you and wrap my arm around you. "Let's go, darling. Cafe sounds lovely."
"thanks sweetie" I say to Jenna as we make our way to the cafe. I hold you close to me, "My goodness, I had no idea that Jenna had moved here. Do you remember the friend I told you about? the one who had the kittens?" I ask you.
As we walk, I turn to you and nod "Yeah, of course. Was she the one?" I ask, tilting my head. "Maybe the little ones will remember her?"
I nod, "the one and only." I smile a we reach the cafe. "And it is quite possible that they recognize her, but...I wonder..has she forgotten.." I decide that we should go back and check on them. "I'm sorry dear, I'm just worried, not about the kittens but about Jenna, they were here favorites out of the litter"
"Hmm, it does seem a little odd that she didn't point it out that they used to be hers..." I hold onto your paw with mine and walk briskly back "It's alright dear, sometimes we just need to ease our minds. Perhaps she'll not do anything, but you do say they were her favourites..." Before long we return to see Jenna on the ground, playing with the little ones, petting and nuzzling them.
I sigh in relief and walk up to her, I sit down and place a reassuring paw on her shoulder "dear, do you remember them?" I ask her
Jenna jumps in surprise, not noticing us walking up to her. She looks at you with somewhat sorrowful eyes but a smile. "Yeah... I do now.. For some reason it didn't click, but... yeah, I remember them now. T-they were my favourites." She says with a light sniffle "B-but, they're both in the paws of one who I'd trust them most to. It is good to see them again." She says, turning back to the kittens, tickling them softly.
I smile and peck her on the cheek "Xaniith and I treat them like they were our own children. First i met my future fiance, and now I am back together with my gorgeous best friend" I say as I hug her tightly
I walk up beside you, and hold your paw, smiling and nodding. "That we do, we both love them very much." She hugs you back tightly, about to burst into tears, before of sorrow, but now of happiness hugging back tightly. "Aww, my dear, aren't you just wonderful."
I smile and hold her close to me, "Oh Jenna, I am so happy to find you here, I have missed you so much" I say, gently wiping her tears away. Woona and Tia then recognizes the smell of Jenna's perfume and mew softly, circling her legs and purring softly.
Jenna sniffles and smiles "I missed you too. I've been thinking about you a fair bit recently, actually." She looks down and pets the little ones. Picking them up, handing Woona to you, and petting 'Tia. "Aren't they lovely. Always so lovely and friendly." I kneel down and pet the little one in your paws as she lets out mews of happiness.
I smile and nod "You should see them when Xaniith's and my tails intertwine, these little ones use our tails as little beds, making it so we can't untangle them" i say, petting Woona. "That is one of the reasons why I adopted them, because I knew at that time, you couldn't afford to look after them, so i took them in for you" I say as Woona lets out a tiny mew at you and licks your paw a lot. Ismile and hand her back to Jenna. "I was just so worried about you being overwhelmed, in any case, we need to go eat now."
Laying my head lightly on your shoulder, I nod "They really seem to like us together. They're very smart." I tell her, and she nods, smiling as she plays with 'Tia "They always did seem a little odd, they liked to stick together and not with the rest of the litter. Very smart kitties." She takes them both in her paws, cuddling them both. "Have no fear, everything will be alright, I promise." She says, looking up at you as you get back up. "Thank you very much" I say, as I wrap my arm around you and start to walk back towards the cafe. "She's lovely" I say to you, when I'm sure we're out of earshot. "I can see how you became friends."
I smile. "She is very lovely. We had been friends since preschool" I say as we reach the cafe. I sit down and smile at you. "What would you like dear?"
