"Oh wow, so it really has been a long time since you've known each other." I say as I get comfy, grabbing a seat next to you. I think for a second. "I think I'll simply have a hot chocolate and a croissant. How about you?"
"I'll have a hot white chocolate and a chocolate croissant too" I say with a smile "and yes, it has been. "It broke both of our hearts when Jenna had to move, but the city was getting to her, she was depressed and sad. It is great to see her here, and to see her so happy, it's wonderful" I say as we wait for the waitress to come and take our orders.
I nod and smile, "I bet it is. I've had friends have to move away for various reasons. I wish I could see some of them again. We don't keep in touch at all." I explain as the waitress from the other day comes out. "Why, hello you two! You look adorable together. How are you doing today? What'll you have?" She asks, obviously enthused about the whole situation.

Smiling, I nod. "Of course we should." I look back up to her and smile. "We've been very well, thank you very much. W-we have some news actually." I hold your paw and blush. "W-we're getting together. I've actually moved in and..well...she's going to be my fiance." She lets out a squeal of excitement. "Oh how lovely! I'm sure you'll be the loveliest couple. I wish you the absolute best!" She says as she walks away to get our order done and get others ones. I grin at you, "I knew she'd like it."
I giggle at the waitresses reaction, "She's a lovely girl, I wonder if she's bi or lesbian... She'd be a perfect match for our Jenna" I giggle again with a wink.
I tilt my head and think for a second. "Y'know, I'm not actually sure. I've known her for a while, or rather, she's known me. I'm pretty sure she is alone, but can't say about sexuality. And hey, what is Jenna, if I may ask?"
I smile "She used to be straight but...but after her ex boyfriend cheated on her and beat her up, she discovered she is bi-sexual but leans more towards girls" I say as I smile at you and hold your paw.
"O-oh.. I see.. poor girl. I hope she finds someone nice. She definitely deserves it." I say, looking a little saddened but smiles as we hold paws. Soon our drinks and then our food comes. I thank the grinning waitress and take a sip of my drink. "Mmm"
I smile and look to the waitress, "Excuse me miss, but um..do you know my friend Jenna? She's the malamute that works at the kitten park" I say with a small hopeful smile
Her smile quickly fades, thinking. She looks back at us and grins, ooh yeah! I've seen her around. Always with a smile." She starts to blush. "Quite the cutie too, I must admit. Why's that?"
I wink at you, "you're not bi or lesbian are you? Jenna is a very close friend of ours, mine mostly, despite her smile, she is actually quite lonely. I was wondering, if...I don't know, you'd maybe take her out on a date?" I ask, a twinkle in my eye
She holds her paws up to her mouth with widened eyes, blushing like mad. "I-I-I'm bi, actually. And..um... oh.. I-I'd love to. I'm sure she's super sweet. I can't say I've ever asked anyone out before." Her eyes trail off, thinking and looking rather uncharacteristically anxious. "Do you think she'll like me?" She asks.
I smile and chuckle a little "Oh my dear, she will absolutely adore you" I say holding her paws in mine and giving them a reassuring pat. "We're going back after we're finished here, why don't you come with us?"
She giggles excitedly behind her other paw. "My shift ends in about 20 minutes. So that will be enough?" She asks hopefully. We look at each other and nod. "Great! See you then!" She says as she takes care of another table, still quite nervous. I take a bite of my croissant. "How exciting" I say to you with a smirk.
I grin "it was only right. She is the one who hooked us up so to speak." I say with the same grin and kiss you on the lips.
I nod before kissing back "Yeah, that's true. I can't wait to see what happens." I say, taking another sip of my drink.
