After a while, we'd finished both our drinks and food. The waitress comes to collect our dishes "Won't be a minute." I'll just be in the back and changing after I clean these, don't you worry." We thank her as she takes off again. Another minute and she comes out in normal clothes. "Ah, that's better. I must apologize at my complete absent mindedness, but my name's Betty. I was too into getting you two together to offer a proper introduction." She explains as we start walking down towards the kittens. She holds a paw against her chest, feeling pretty nervous.
I smile and put a reassuring paw on hers, "Don't worry sweetie, Jenna is a real sweet girl, I've known her since preschool." I say with a smile "my name is Scarlet Pogonowski, but just Scarlet or even Scar is fine. This is my soon to be fiance, Xaniith" I say with a smile, my paw still on hers, despite her plain clothes, Betty was actually quite pretty.
She blushes and nervously giggles. "T-that's really sweet. It's a pleasure to finally know you both, Scarlet and Xaniith. I'm rather excited but very nervous about this." She says, stuttering a little. We both reassure her and keep her calm as we walk down to the kittens. We finally make it, and see Jenna sitting down, still playing with Woona and 'Tia. As we walk close, she notices us and waves excitedly.
I smile and wave back. Then turning to Betty I pat her paw. "Its ok to be nervous. But remember, we're both here for you"
We all walk up to Jenna. "Hello again. We've returned. But we've brought a friend here to see you, if you don't mind." Jenna looks up again, a little bit surprised. "Oh I know you! You're the cafe waitress! How nice it is to see you!" She says, getting up and shakes paws with Betty.
I smile as I hold you close and we watch what happens. "Oh, I hope she says yes. They're a perfect match for each other" I say as I lean on you and rest my head on your shoulder
I wrap my arm around you and smile back at you with a paw against my mouth "Sssh" as we watch. "H-hello there Jenna...So..um..M-my name's Betty. W-would you..y'know..like to hang out sometime..a-and get to know each other..I-If you're free and all, that is, of course." Betty says, stammering her way through, letting her nerves seep through.
I smile as well but then frown "oh dear, that's not how you ask someone out on a date" I chuckle a little
Jenna shakes her head a bit, taken aback. "Oh my, I... I can't say I was prepared for that... I... I don't know what to say... hmm. How about all of us go somewhere and see how that goes hmm? It's nearly closing time anyway. Or perhaps another time?" She asks, looking at all of us.
Smiling, I nod "Sure! It sounds like fun. But where shall we all go? Anyone have any suggestions, hm?" I ask around, looking at everyone.
I smile "what about that restaurant nearby?" I ask "we could all go home, get dressed and meet up in an hour or two?" I suggest
All of us nod and smile "Sounds good! I look forward to it." I say. Jenna and Betty look at each other and grin "good idea." They agree. We start making our way to our house, I look over to you. "Well, I kinda didn't expect it to go like that, but it's a start."
I nod "yeah, but maybe it's for the best, a joint date will help them both feel better. they both seemed to be rather shy about it" I say.
"Yeah, I think this is actually a better idea than them going by themselves, to an extent. We'll see how it all goes though." We arrive at our house and get inside. "Hey! Why don't you try some of the new clothes that you got? Like perhaps the black dress? Or is that too formal?" I ask, going through my clothes, trying to find something suitable to wear.
I smile and hug you "oh that's a wonderful idea" i giggle as I go up to our room and grab my new dress and try it on
Walking up to you, I cuddle "Don't you just look stunning." I say, while putting on a black buttoned shirt and longs. "Now did we say a place for us all to meet? At the restaurant, I guess? I hope they all can find it alright." I say, getting a bit worried as we make our way back outside.
I smile as I had just finished putting on my make up, "They will dear, now come on, oh almost forgot" i rush to the kitchen and put some food in Woona and Tia's bowls for them.
I kneel down to the little kittens as they dig in. "Take care, we'll be gone for only a little while, okay? Don't be too much trouble." I say to them, and they reply with soft mews, mouths full of food. I get up and hold your paw as we walk back out, our tails starting to intertwine.
I smile "they really love you, you know dear" i say as I rest my head and your shoulder while we walk.
