"And I love them, they're just so precious." I reply, kissing your cheek. After a brief walk, we make it outside the restaurant, with Jenna and Betty waiting, talking to each other, and waving to us when they notice us. I wave back and grin "Hello again. How are you two? Ready to go in?"
I smile "We're ready, sorry we're a bit late, had to feed the little ones" I say, winking to Jenna and hugging you close, "you know, they really love my Xanii, and he loves them back."
Jenna grins "I bet he does! He definitely looks the type to take good care of those darlings". I go up and hug Betty, whispering "Everything'll be alright, I promise. You're looking great, my dear." She blushes softly, giggling, "Aww thank you kindly. I feel a lot better now." She turns to you and smiles, looking up and down "What a lovely dress, Scarlet! You look gorgeous." Finally we make our way inside and find a table to one side, a bit further away to most of the others in the restaurant.
I smile as you comfort Betty and then i smile at Jenna as we walk in. Luckily I had made reservations for us before you and i left. So I go up to the counter to get our table.
We all take our seats and look at the menus "Hmm, what are you all going to get? I'm not too sure." I ask the others as they all keep reading through the menus. A waitress comes up to us greeting us and handing us cold glasses of water. "Oh thank you." I say, looking up at her "You're welcome and enjoy your stay! Is anyone ready to order?"
i look up from my menu and smile "I will have the king prawns with pesto please" I say, as I reach over the table and hold your paws in mine.
Looking frantically, I turn to the waitress. "I'll have the lasagne dish, please." We both turn to the other two, and they reply "We'll have curried sausage and potato bake, please." They say, looking at each other. The waitress nods with a smile, writing down the orders and walks away to the kitchen before going to the next occupied table.
I smile at you, "this is wonderful." I say with a kiss. i then look at Betty and Jenna. Jenna seemed to have warmed up a bit more to Betty, who was gazing into her crystal blue eyes.
I smile softly back "Yeah, I haven't been here before, let alone with friends." I reply. Joining your gaze, I see the couple talking softly to each other. Betty sees me smirking at them and she starts blushing. I take a drink of the cold water, "oh wow, I can't wait to start eating, I'm quite famished now, Im sure it'll all be great taste."
I smile and nod, "I can smell the cooking from here, it smells divine" I say, also noticing Betty and Jenna talking with each other, I smile at them.
Betty notices you watching them and smiles back, "Jenna was just talking about some of the times you and her spent together. What great friends you two are. I'm happy to see that you've found each other again, accidentally too. You must feel pretty blessed to be able to get to know her as well as Xan here." She says, nodding at me.
I nod and smile "I am very blessed dear, and yes dear it was very lucky that she had moved her too. Back in the city...Jenna was my only friend. " I say smiling at her, "We got up to so much mischief together" I gently stroke your paws as we talk "and it is wonderful that Jenna can be reunited with our little Woona and 'Tia. right dear?" I ask you, smiling at you.
Betty nods and smiles at you "Aww, how adorable. I only had a couple friends when I was growing up as well. We haven't been in contact for a while, I've been around here mostly by myself." Turning back to you, I nod and smile gently. "Of course, I'm sure they enjoyed it as well. Maybe they recognise her, even. Or perhaps it was too long ago for them." I reply, holding your paws.
I smile, "by their reactions I would say they recognized her, especially with the way they were crawling all over her like a long lost friend" I say, still stroking your paws. "I um..I'll be right back" I say as I get up and walk out to the backyard of the restaurant. I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed and I felt like crying, and eventually..i gave in. and I started to sob into my paws.
"It's entirely possible. Those kitties are very smart." I say, smiling, thinking of them. As you get up and leave, I hold a slight puzzling look, and watch you go out. "Uh.. E-excuse me, ladies." I say to the other two, looking rather concerned as well, but decide it best for me to follow alone. Walking outside, I rush to you and hold you close, petting softly, whispering "Sssshh, what's wrong, my dear? Did something happen?"
"I...I just..I feel so overwhelmed love. It just seems..so unreal.." i say as i sob into your chest as you hold me close. "I...I just feel like it's too good to be true. These last few days and nights have just been so wonderful for me and...nothing good has ever truly happened to me before" i say sadly
Nuzzling softly, I cuddle and kiss you gently. "Aww, there there, sweetie." I say, carrying you over to a nearby bench and sitting us both down. "I promise you, everything here is real. I'm real, as is my love for you, and our friends inside. All this goodness is just making up for lost time, my dear. I love you." I assure you, petting you and wiping your tears.
I smile softly at you "T..thank you dear. It's just the last time I felt like this...well" I show you my arms "you know..my ex.." I whisper as I nuzzle into your chest, allowing you to hold me close to you and stroke my fur, ears and whisker.
I kiss your arms as you me them "Ssshh, everything'll be okay. I promise." I whisper, petting you softly, calming you down slowly. After a little bit of that I sit you on my lap and cuddle, kissing you deeply "I love you, beautiful. Are you ready to go back in? Our dinners might be ready. If not, we can spend some more time here, there's no rush." I say, smiling sweetly.
I nod and snuggle into your embrace "J..just little longer" I say. "I..i wish we could have brought Woona and Tia, they would really help" I say, "i..maybe we could..do you think?"
