I pick the little ones up after they'd finished nibbling and snuggle them as you continue to eat. "I hope you two won't be too distressed with us gone, hm? We may be away for longer amounts of time if we find something." I say to them. They mew, puzzled. "To keep this going we are going to need income, my dears. So we need to work." They start nudging me, not wanting us to go.
I smile and gently pet the "Darlings, how would you like to spend every day mummy and daddy are away with Jenna? you'd like that, wouldn't you dear?"
They turn to you and sit on your lap and mew happily, liking the idea. "Aww, they'd love to see her some more! Who wouldn't, hehe" I giggle, looking at my phone for the time. "I should head off in about half an hour or so, and get as much time as I can with the professors." I say to you, wrapping my arms around you and gently snuggling.
I snuggle close to you "and I should take these darlings to see Jenna and ask about working at the Kitty Park" i say as i gently stroke their cute little ears
"Yeah, sounds like a lovely idea. I'm sure both parties would be happy to see each other." I reply, smiling and kissing you softly on the cheek. I notice you finishing your breakfast, "Oh, I'll take that, love." I say, taking your plate and rushing downstairs to clean it and the slight mess in the kitchen, before coming back up and playing with the little ones.
I cuddle in close and nuzzle back "Hello beautiful. I'm afraid I'll have to be going soon. Will you be alright with just the kittens?" I ask, giving both the little ones some nice pettings as they purr loudly, nudging into us.
I lean in and kiss you "I will, sweetie. I love you too." I say as I give the kittens one last snuggle and saying "goodbye darlings", before putting on my coat and satchel and walk downstairs and out the door. Making my way to the campus.
I sigh as I get up and get into my top and jeans before getting the carriers, "Come now darlings, time to go see mummy Jenna" I say sweetly to them
The kittens mew softly, getting themselves into their respective carriers, looking forward to seeing Jenna again. I make my way to campus in about 20 minutes, sighing, and start contacting professors around campus, asking if they have a spot for research assistant, or similar.
I smile and give them a nuzzle, a pet and give them their toys and some nibblebits for the trip. I sigh and walk over to the Kitty Park "Jenna!"
Jenna, busy sitting at her desk, jumps up and waves "Scarlet! Hiya!" She says as she runs around the desk and hugs you tight. "How are you? and how are my little darlings?" She asks, bending down to look at the kittens in the carriers. As she does so, they both hit the cage doors and mew and purr, seeing Jenna again.
I smile "I'm good dear, but I was thinking, are there any openings here? both Xaniith and I are looking for work, and..well I would love to work here, you know how much I love kittens, plus I can work and our little ones won't be far away"
Jenna jumps up to her feet and lets out a little squeal of delight "That would be wonderful! I've been wanting a helper around here, especially when it gets a bit more packed during the day. I'd love to have you on board!" She says excitedly with another hug. "I'd have offered it to you in a snap if I knew you were without work."
I giggle and hug her back, and the kittens mew and purr. "Oh this is wonderful, I can't wait to tell Xaniith, I hope he has just as good luck at his university."
Jenna opens the cages, and the kittens leap out into her paws, and she holds them up to her face, nuzzling as they lick her. "Yeah, it sure is. You can start anytime after today" Jenna says, smiling as she plays with the kittens.
As the kittens lick Jenna's paws, she turns to you "Wonderful, I really look forward to it all! Do you have any other plans for the day, or did you want to hang around here for a bit?"
