Azure had recently arrived to the town square and found an alicorn whe she believed to be princess mystic "oh so thats the alicorn people were talking about.maybe i can get a picture with her,my friends would be so jealous that i actually took a picture with an alicorn" she began to approach the alicorn but she saw a mare reluctantly approaching the alicorn so she decided to wait for the mare to leave so she could get a picture with the alicorn princess
Mystic turned to see Sensory Song "Hello Sensory, and no I currently don't need anythi... hmm wait do you know what might be the best job for this stallion"
"Hmm... Soldiers on the battlefield often find themselves being exposed when casting spells. Perhaps you could invent and market something to our allies to speed up or fortify spell casters?"
Lunar points to his crescent moon necklace saying "Already got a prototype, it can protect from Dark and Corruption magic and it is enchanted with a little bit of Nightmare Magic, not enough to corrupt the wearer though, which not only powers it but enhances the wearers necklace."
Mystic looks around as the ponies continue to speak. She spots Azure Blitz and trots over to her "Hello"
"The nightmare magic is a no-go. Even though it's not enough to corrupt the wearer, there exists magic that can amplify nightmare magic and negative emotions, such as my sensory magic." Her horn glowed, causing Lunar Shield to feel an uncontrollable wave of anger for a brief moment, until it all vanished at once. "See?"
"No, neither of those can sustain themselves very long in a defensive situation unless pitted against each other..." Sensory lowers her head, pondering. "There is an absolute defense magic called Aegis. It's very powerful, but the tome that contains it's secrets is very much entrenched in an abandoned, withering castle."
"It's not too far from here actually. The roads will take us most of the way, and the rest is about a three mile hike into the wilderness." Sensory hails a carriage, pays fare for two , and gets in. "Take us down the route to the abandoned castle."
"Well, the castle was used as a stronghold to watch for dragon attacks. As such, it was built to defend one. There's no telling how many traps could still be inside, active or not."
"Traps i have stared death in the face more times than you can count. i think i'll be fine." Lunar says smiling revealing his razor sharp teeth
