One important thing to show that the bronyhood isn't a cult: you can quit being a brony. You can't leave any cult you've joined. Everyone will be against you, and in some cults, they will even hunt you down. If you leave the brony fandom, some would disagree, but some people will just say something like "yeah, okay, your life, not mine. You don't enjoy pastel-colored ponies anymore? That's okay, just enjoy your life from now." while most just feel neutral about it. And yes, some people adore Celestia and Luna as gods, but in my opinion, most are doing it for the fun. I mean, they are drawn horses. Sure, there can be a world with pastel-colored ponies who are the dominant race and who have a developed language, or even more (the universe is gigantic. We can see far beyond our galaxy, but yet we can't even see .0001% of the universe. The chances that such a planet exist are real.), but still...
this is not a cult its a fandom. luba and celestia are not gods they are mortal. using magic to keep the mpon and sun in proper alignment with the earth became their true calling partly because of their parents king chronos and queen galaxia. chronos had a time related mark and galaxia had a space one. the princesses only lived the last thousand years without aging because celestia cast a spell to preserve them untill new generations would be able to weild the elements of harmony to restore luna. trust me im their adopted brother so i have talked about it with them. lmao seriously tho that yahoo answers be trollin. now seriously didnt you know most everypony in equestria is christian including celestia and luna?. i mean think about it for all worlds god created he would have sent his son to save souls in each right. nit to mention i have fan art of what jesus looks like in a pony body. i also have one of him as an anthro lion if your furry too.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. People call us a cult *shrugs*. Doesn't make sense since one of the things we teach is to question everything, which is the complete opposite of a cult.
Now if we painted symbols on real ponies' butts, sacrificed them, and drank their blood from MLP sippy cups, this guy would have a point. However, I think he just doesn't know a damn thing about the show or the fandom.
