So, I surfed the forums and didn't see anything with this...anyone a Monster High fan?

I collect the dolls, am working on the book series, and have seen all the webisodes and movies.

So, anyone else a collector/fan of this series?

I collect their heads and burn the bodies.... Kidding...I don't like them though...they seem like just another remake of the old Barbie and Ken dolls

Not that I'm into them, but they really aren't Barbie-esque at all. They are closer to the Bratz dolls I used to play with as a kid. They are a bit darker, though, and the Frankenstein girl almost has a gothic lolita-look to her. I also really like the design of some of them, for example the green girl with the pink and green hair which is shaved in the side. Yeah, I would have loved these dolls if they had come out earlier.

I'm not a collector, but I have seen a couple of the TV movies.
I whole-heartedly approve of ANYTHING that promotes weirdness.

That's honestly what started me on the series. I saw the dolls, and googled them, then watched the first episodes. They really promote not only weirdness, but are highly about being yourself, no matter what others think.

Birdie, the one you're talking about is Venus Mcfly trap. I love her, and have one of her. ^_^ There's a few different characters that pick up on Gothic Lolita, and they do try to pull in many different styles with each new character. It's something I would recommend trying out at least once :)
