Rainbow looked over at Crimson, who hadn't said a word since went to visit the others and had been distant from the group. "You okay, Crim?" Crimson snapped back to reality for a moment. "Yeah, I'm fine...Just thinking about something."
Circuit could barely contain his excitement. He was in his favorite time period, and he couldn't be happier about it.
Twilight then thought about something in her head. "I don't know how to get how to get home yet....but I will think of something. But...we might be here for a while"
"I don't really mind that, Twilight," replied Circuit. Rainbow Dash smirked and said, "This is gonna be fun."
"Ooh! I know!" said Rainbow Dash, "Let's watch some wrestling!" This remark earned her a dirty look from Rarity.
"You know, I might actually be up for that!" Sunset surprisingly stated. "I think it's kinda cool, despite it....you know"
"Ah don't really mind," said Applejack. "Ooh! Does this mean I get to see Randy Savage in his prime?" said Pinkie excitedly. "I've kinda always wanted to watch some wrestling," said Circuit. "There's a lot more to wrestling than people think," said Twilight, "Much like acting, wrestling takes effort and practice. That's one of the many reasons why I like it." Fluttershy just shrugged. She had no opinion on wrestling. Rarity simply said, "You people can't be serious!"
Crimson just nodded, having been an avid wrestling fan in his youth. "Yeah, I'm game" However, he was unaware of what he was about to find at the show...
Later that night, the nine of them went to the Canterlot Sports Center to see that night's wrestling match: Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage against Roddy Piper and Ric Flair in a cage match.
The group of friends sat roughly in the middle-row of the crowd as the match took place. Some matches happened prior to the cage match, but the main event promised to look on a grand stage. Thousands upon thousands of people were in the sport center cheering as Hulk Hogan performed a leg drop on Ric Flair, but Crimson's stomach rumbled and cried out for nourishment. "I'll be back guys" He said as he stood up and left the row of seats. Meanwhile, on the way to grab something to eat, he was accidentally bumped into by another girl, who appeared to be his age. She looked like she was roughly Rainbow's height and had a similar physique, but she had long purple hair like rarity and light pink skin, and wore a black Pendleton sweater. She turned around and apologized the moment she accidentally bumped into him, showing her bright crystal blue-eyes. "Sorry!" She accidentally bumped into Crimson, before running off into the crowd. Crimson tried to apologize back but before he knew it, she was gone. Instead, he continued to head his way to grab some food and watch the rest of the match. Crimson never knew that he actually bumped into his own mother...
After the match was over, Circuit and the others left, satisfied with the match, all except for Rarity, who felt utterly disgusted, and Fluttershy, who simply paid no attention to the match.
Crimson returned within the last minutes of the match, fairly satisfied with the match. Twilight thought that since the group would be stuck in the 1980's for a while, she would need some way to get the group from place to place relatively easily. Twilight went out and bought a sparkling black 1983 GMC Vandura cargo van for the group to travel in, able to fit the group and specifically for Twilight, easy to modify...
Twilight nodded. "Exact same model, just the stock version. Should fit all of us easily, plus it's extra cabin room allows me to modify it"
They all got in the van and soon took off, with Crimson wondering about the stranger he accidentally bumped into earlier...
Circuit was really in his element. So much so, in fact, that he hadn't realized that he had left his smartphone in the alley where he woke up. At least, until now. "Guys..." he said, "We have a serious problem."
The others turned their heads around to look at Morphin in the van, while Twilight drived. "What's up?"
"I woke up in a back alley downtown this morning..." he explained, "and I made the mistake of pulling out my cellphone to see what time it was. Now, that would have been a reasonable thing to do... had I not LEFT it in that back alley." Rainbow Dash's expression was stricken with fear. "Dude... you know what happens in sci-fi movies when people accidentally leave technology from their time in the past, right?" she asked worriedly. "The time line goes wrong?" replied Circuit. "Quite correct, my dear," replied Rarity, "And in the wrong hands, that phone of yours could very well lead to drastic consequences for the future. Think for a moment, darling, it's 1986. Who is the biggest threat to America at the moment?" Circuit wasn't as well versed in history as Crimson, but he knew the important things. "The Soviets..." Circuit replied. "That's right," replied Applejack, "And when we do make it back ta 2016, ah don't want ta live in no Soviet occupation, ya hear?"
