"I have no idea..." Crimson told Circuit. "Maybe they have been binding their time, maybe they know it's because mankind has progressed...."
Crimson shook his head. "It's going to get bad....Billions are already dead, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Atlantis is going to reclaim it's colonies..."
"Their colonies are long dead, but their infrastructure isn't. An old myth is believed that underneath several American cities on the East Coast are entire Atlantian cities, but that's just myth. Nobody has ever found them, although they apparently exist.." Crimson told the purple haired beauty. "I personally believe that since the Atlantian's collapsed, the Greek and Roman civlizations were highly inspired by Atlantian culture and adopted huge parts of it into it's own. Another story was that the Aztec and Mayan civilizations was a crude recreation of the Atlantians as well, except with the pagan belief of human sacrifice."
"Well, then why take our freedom?" said Rainbow Dash, "It'd be like if Great Britain decided to take back America and Austraila because they felt like it."
Applejack cleared her throat. "I think we should get going. The sooner we can learn about their intentions, the easier it would be to put them down. Maybe they might be innocent? Maybe they've realized that the former colonies could protect themselves now?" The girls nodded and looked eastward. They had to travel to Atlantis itself...
"Crimson, how are we gonna get there?" asked Fluttershy. "I mean, Detroit was easy, just drive seven hours west, but..." "I can get us there," said Circuit. "Huh?" "In my enhanced form, I'll have enough strength to carry the seven of you."
"So...do we just climb on your back or something?" Pinkie asked. "I me-" Crimson didn't hesitate and climbed on Circuit. "I just....oh, okay. I see how it is..." Pinkie said to herself.
As the others climbed upon Circuit's now-transformed back, he took off for Atlantis and after fifteen minutes, gently landed in the city.
Atlantis was as it was expected to be. Utopian... The ancient citizens of the city and it's surrounding towns began to reanimate and get back to enjoying a normal life. People happily walking the streets and living their lives, children playing on the streets. It was ideal almost...
"The civilians look...peaceful. It's as if Atlantis never even sunk." Crimson said before looking worried. "Something is off..."
"How does an entire city act like this..." said Rarity. "I know," replied Pinkie Pie angrily, "It's not natural." "C'mon, girls," said Sunset, "Let's find out more about this place."
The more the girls and boys discovered about Atlantis, the more they discovered the dark history about the place. It seemed that the civilians, from the youngest baby to the oldest elder, was under mind control. And that control was coming from the Royal palace, surrounded by Atlantian guards in highly advanced yet ancient-appearing armor and weapons.
This isn't right, Circuit thought to himself, an entire civilization, brainwashed? What kind of ruler would do this?
"I think we just found the problem..." Crimson told the girls. "I don't think ruler of Atlantis doesn't like visitors....so I'm just gonna kick the doors down. "
"We could always take the diplomatic route." Fluttershy said. "I don't know how they'll take this however..."
