Richard came flying back towards Crimson at blinding speed before striking Crimson with blow after blow, too fast for Crim to counter. "And here I thought you could still put up a fight," Richard mused as he pummeled the poor Aussie with his fists. Suddenly, however, Crim stopped feeling the blows. He looked up to see what had saved him... a light grey arm... "You f*yay*ed with the wrong man," said a familiar voice.
"What!" Richard suddenly yelled, distracted by the sudden emergence of the grey atn. Although, while he was distracted, Crim still had Orchid's lucky switchblade with him and took the opputunity to quickly slit his wrists. Richard grunted loudly at the seemingly useless attack. "What's the matter, kiddo?" Richard sadisticly told him. "Still want to crawl back into your dead mother!?" Crim took a beating from Richard, but he had taken worse before. Although, at such a speed and force that Richard had, he wouldn't be able to last any longer. He was already losing his ability to fight back...
Spoiler: Music "You're not gonna thank me, buddy?" Circuit asked, a hint of disappointment in his voice. "Oh well... Not like I was gonna let you die anyway..." Circuit punched Richard in the gut as he said, "And you... you can just SHUT UP!! Taking a poor, helpless young man and turning his life into nothing but misery... is this how you get your sick kicks?!" He then picked up Orchid's switchblade and delivered a barrage of stab wounds that served only to weaken his opponent. That was all he needed, however. "I guess you need a lesson in pain," Circuit said, disgust and contempt flowing through every word, "GIVE ME YOUR FACE."
Richard struggled to hold against the extremely weak Crim and the enraged Circuit, as the later started to skin him alive, trying to rip his chicken head completely off in every single gruesome detail. Crimson, decided to add the finishing touches, managing to take the sharp end of his broken bat. Richard screamed in utter as eventually, his face was completely ripped off. Crimson soon broke into a sprint, and with absolutely everything he had, completely pierced Richard's heart with the shovel-like bat. Richard didn't even have time to scream, before suddenly slumping over onto the ground dead. Crim would have thanked Circuit if he could, but only a mere moment later, collapsed onto the ground in a bloody mess as the world suddenly reverted to normal. The universe was saved, but at a cost...
Everyone watched as Crim fell to the ground suddenly, while reality repaired itself. It seemed that the battle had all been in Crim's mind, except... Circuit's body started coughing up blood slightly. He wasn't in good condition, but he was alive. "Circuit..." said Rainbow Dash in pleasant surprise, "You're okay... oh, thank God, you're okay..." "Not exactly," Circuit said weakly, with a slight chuckle, as he felt Rainbow's warm embrace. "I'm alive, though... and that's what matters." "What about my son?" asked Winter, teary-eyed, "What about Crim?" "Oh, him? He's been through worse... And I guess he sorta owes me one..." "What do you mean?" asked Twilight, speaking for the first time since enduring Rainbow Dash's assault. "I'll talk about it after I have medical attention," Circuit replied, "Long story... I need to save my strength... It'd probably be good to get Crim to the hospital as well, while we're on the subject..."
One hospital trip later... Circuit and Crim were placed in the same rooms when they got to the hospital. The moment they got into their beds, the sheer severity of their own damages had placed them into priority treatment. While physically beaten up, Crim was much worse mentally after having to kill Richard. It would take three very long days and nights, and one induced coma later, for the two of them to survive their treatment and have visitors...
The doctors opened the doo to release the floodgate of people wanting to see them, from all of Circuit and Crim's friends, along with Orchid in the corner. Winter tried to suppress her grief, but was happy knowing that her son and his friend were alive...
Crim was still sleeping, as the vast majority of the girls were surrounding Circuit and keeping him company while keeping their distance incase they hurt him. But although Crim and Circuit were fine, Orchid's eyes never left from Crim's face. "Orchid, darling?" Rarity said to her, noticing the girl in the corner spaced out. "Are you feeling okay?" Orchid snapped out of it before nodding. "Yeah....I'm fine"
"You had me worried for a moment, bro," said Rainbow Dash, smiling gently. "I wish I could say I've been through worse..." he replied with a chuckle.
Meanwhile, two doctors surrounded the unconscious Crim's bed and started to take him out of his induced coma, giving him time to finally wake up. Winter and Sunset was the first thing that he seen, a great sight for sore eyes. The rest of the group came later. "Crimson....you feeling okay?" Sunset said. Crim's eyes fluttered open as a small grin came across his face, knowing that Richard was finally dead, as memories of what happened came back. "Never better..."
Circuit rolled his head over to face his friend. "Good to hear, man," he said. "I guess you owe me one, huh?"
Crim nodded back with a grin. "Guess you can say that. I owe you a drink when you turn 18..." Meanwhile, the moment the doctors left, Winter went over to her son and hugged him in the "morning ritual", pressing his head right between her breasts. "OHMYGOSHCRIMSON!" Winter hugged Crim, soon releasing him a moment later and giving him the oxygen he needs... "Mooooom~" Crim said, noticing his accent slip.
"What?" Crim said before noticing. "Oh, I'm alright." He then tried to laugh it off, but only got weird looks from Rarity. Maybe Richard did more damage then he thought, not that he minded.
"Will you two be ready to go to school next week?" asked Twilight. "We'll see, Twi..." said Circuit. "On the one hand, any excuse to stay away from school is great. On the other... well, I still need to finish my public education."
Orchid scrunched up her face at the thought. She never had a public education at all, having been made to be educated by her father in private lessons, or learning it off the street. Just another reason to tick of her own list of things she wished she had. "Orchid.." Winter said to her. "Can I speak to you in private?" Orchid nodded sadly before leaving the room, as the two of them went outside and talked in the window.
"So..." began Winter, "I hear you're father was kind of a douche who faked your death and killed your mom just for a life of crime." Orchid nodded. "Crim tell you?" she asked. "Well... yes. Anyway, you also apparently never had a formal education. Perhaps I could have you admitted to Canterlot High?" "Answer carefully," shouted Circuit from the other room, "School kinda sucks." Winter was surprised. "How did you-" "That's not exactly soundproof in there," he replied. "But never mind, carry on." "So... even with Circuit's... warning," said Winter with a chuckle, fully agreeing with Circuit even considering the differences between the American and Australian school systems, "you still wanna give it a go?"
Orchid did nothing else but suddenly hug Winter as tight as she could, taking the mother by surprise. But not before she dropped a bombshell. "Orchid~" She coo'ed. "I understand that because of what's happened as well, you've been homeless and living off your fathers fortune..not to mention you and Crim had been friends for as long as I remember. And well....we always have room for one more..."
