He almost didn't want to tell the group, but he knew that they would be the only people who would understand. He took a deep breath and just gave it to them directly... "Orchid is alive..."
Circuit nearly crapped his pants upon hearing this, while Fluttershy fainted again. "How did you figure this out?" asked Rarity.
"No..." He said before looking at his necklace, remembering her touch. "She was the one that took it last night. She was dressed up well and did everything she could to hide her identity, well enough to the point where it was almost impossible to tell if she was male or not. She even pulled a knife on me while he was disguised so that she wouldn't break character. But when I found that out, and the time I realized who she was....she had led me into a trap"
Now it was Rarity's turn to faint. "WHAT THE HELL?!" said Circuit. "I thought... I thought you were friends..."
"I doubt that she was the villain, the way she looked at me kinda said that she was being forced to do this. But..." Crimson said before holding his head on the table. "I spent weeks crying and morning her death, and now I find out that it's fake. Something clearly happened behind the scenes..."
One week later, somewhere in Canterlot... Orchid's injuries had healed, and she had finally had enough of what her father had put her through for the past five years. She was taken away from her only childhood friend, and was then told that said friend thought she died of cancer, which meant that she could finally enter the "family business," something that she wasn't really proud of, even if she became extremely efficient at it over the years. Being forced to rob her childhood friend was the final straw. She had made up her mind. "I'm done," she said. "I've had it..." "With what?" asked her father, beer bottle in hand. "With this whole 'family business' thing! I nearly got the snot beaten outta me by Crimso--" "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NOT TO TALK ABOUT THAT LITTLE C**T IN MY HOUSE!!" Her father was now incredibly angry, raising the beer bottle at his daughter, who promptly pulled out a knife in self-defense. "I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU ANYMORE, A**EHOLE!!" she said, "FIVE YEARS I'VE HAD TO PUT UP WITH YOUR MISERABLE, DRUNKEN, PSYCHOPATHIC CRIMINAL ANTICS AND YOU TRYING TO GET ME TO FOLLOW IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS... I'M STARTING TO THINK MAYBE YOU KILLED MUM SO THAT YOU'D HAVE FREE REIGN TO DO WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT!!! WELL, F**K YOU!! I'M LEAVING!!" She then stormed out of the house, with nothing but the supplies in her backpack and the clothes on her back. "YOU'D BETTER GET BACK INSIDE IF YOU DON'T WANT A PRICE ON YOUR HEAD, YOU UNGRATEFUL B***H!" shouted her father from the doorway. "EAT A D**K!!" shouted Orchid back as she crossed the street. ----- At Rainbow Dash and Circuit's house... "So Circuit, what's your family like?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Well, my parents died in a plane crash on a return trip from a vacation in Hawaii when I was 11 years old," said Circuit sadly, "My mother was half-Chinese and half-Norwegian, while my father was born to a pair of Irish immigrants. Both of them were very passionate about their jobs. My mother worked as a receptionist for an insurance company in Los Angeles, and my father was a locksmith in San Bernadino. They were really cool parents, and they spoiled me rotten. Ever since they died, however, I had to survive on my own. If I hadn't gotten to talk to you, I would've still been living in that rundown hotel." "Aww, that's so sweet of you," said Rainbow Dash as she hugged him.
10:01pm, Crim's place. The night was surprisingly quiet. News about him taking out the teenage Street gang had died down, but it was still trending. Since it was the only footage of him, and being amateur cam at most, the police had no idea what to do with the footage. Just after getting home from school, the police did pay him a visit to thank him for his actions of taking down the Canterlot Pink Cloud gang, but also cautiously asked him to stay out of trouble. Something which Crim happily obliged. Then at night, there was a knock on the door. Auntie Winter had been out all night after having to stay behind at work, and Crimson only had to lock up if he went anywhere. He was home alone, but he wasn't expecting visitors. Getting up from the sofa, he made it to the door and opened it to find.... "....Orchid?" Crimson asked, finding the purple haired girl at the door. The moment he said her name, she immediately hugged him tightly, as if to catch up on the eight or so years that they've been apart from one another. She was dressed in a black hoodie, the same one from last night, black running shoes and denim jeans, along with her backpack. She looked at him nervously, but she didn't look like she was here to say sorry. "We need to talk...." Orchid told him. "We need to catch up" Crimson was taken back that his dead childhood friend, and the closet thing that he could consider as a "girlfriend" was standing at the door. He was happy to catch up, and also eager to apologize. "Come on in, I ne-" "No, not here" Orchid said sadly. "It's not safe..." Crim then nodded, before going over to grab his hoodie and whatever the hell he needed. It wasn't much, and he wasn't carrying anything to protect himself other then his fists. "I know where to go...." Crimson told her. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 30 minutes later A knock on the door happened at Rainbow and Circuit's house. While it was getting late, and they could hear the TV and lights on inside, the two of them were nervously at the door, almost cautiously at the door. They had to get to safety, quick...
"Oh Crimson, come on in!" said Circuit as he opened the door. "And you must be Orchid!" he added as she entered through the door, holding his hand out to her, "Nice to meet you, I'm Circuit Breaker, and I met Crim when he moved here." "Thanks, Circuit," said Orchid as she took his hand and shook it.
Music for scene. Crim didn't waste time however. The first thing he did when he went through the door was lock all the doors behind him, then quickly run into the loungeroom to close all the curtains. "Circuit, this might sound crazy but don't make a sound. Close all the curtains, lock every door and window leading to the outside of the house and turn off the lights and TV." After her greeting, Orchid went into the loungeroom to make sure the windows were locked and the curtains were shut. "If they find out we are here, we'll all die" Crimson warned. "Please, stay quiet while they pass..."
In the quick shutdown of everything, both Crim and Orchid looked quietly out the windows of two different sides of the house. Just as they looked out quietly, a black Jeep quietly went across the streets like a tiger on the prowl. It slowly drove past different houses inspecting them, before driving off into the night.
Orchid looked out again before nodding. "Yeah, they're gone." "That was close..." Crim said in the loungeroom.
The moment that the group was safe, Rainbow looked at the two visitors. "What the hell was that all about!?" Orchid turned to her. "Let's just say that me and my father just had family outing, and now he's put a price on my head for $10,000. But upon finding out that Crimson was alive as well, he made his $25,000 minimum. The two of us are not safe, and let's just say that due to the connection with Crim, all six of you are vital. Me and Crimson are going to be keeping all six of you safe, while we take care of things" "Oh....." Rainbow suddenly said. "Does that mea-" "Me and Orchid are currently the most wanted people in Canterlot" Crim told her. "I'm not going to let you guys die because of something you have no involvement in."
