Circuit didn't know where this purple girl came from, though she did look vaguely familiar. She had the other girls with her, however, so he went along with her anyway. "Alright, everyone," said Twilight once they arrived at Celestia's house, "I know how we can fix Luna." "Well, Circuit doesn't know..." said Rainbow Dash sheepishly. "Right... should I tell him?" "Tell me what?" Circuit asked in reply. "Okay, Circuit, was it?" Twilight took a deep breath. "I'm not a normal teenage girl. I'm not even human. I'm actually a magical horse princess from another dimension." Circuit didn't know what possessed him to laugh at that moment, but he did. "What's so funny?" asked Twilight, raising an eyebrow. "Nothing, Princess..." Circuit snarked in reply, "Next you'll tell me that Rainbow Dash's car is actually an alien robot in disguise!!" Twilight rolled her eyes. "Eh, heh heh heh, I'm not joking," she said testily. Circuit stopped laughing, and raised an eyebrow. "You're not?" he asked uncertainly.
"Yes, and Sunset isn't human either. She's just the same as me, except not a Princess." "Ooooooh! Should we tell Crim?!" Pinkie said with a smug grin, to which Sunset just sat in her chair and blushed. "Anyway, I know how we are going to defeat Nightmare Moon." Twilight said. "That's what Principal Luna calls herself now
"How?" asked Circuit with another chuckle, "you gonna wave your magic wand, and make everything better?" This was met with a dirty look from Twilight. "Not exactly," she replied.
"I know that Pri-I mean, Nightmare Moon might have changed appearance, would this be some Equestrian magic problem, Twi?" Applejack asked.
"It may have been triggered by the stress and fear she's been under lately," said Twilight. "Wait a minute," said Circuit, "You mean to tell me that all the weird things that have happened at school this year... were caused by magic from another dimension?!" Circuit's entire worldview was being constantly re-evaluated with every passing second. He knew the possibility of parallel universes existed, but he didn't think they could actually interact like this.
Fluttershy raised a hand, almost like she was still at school. "Um....how are we going to beat her, Twilight?"
"The same way we always do," said Twilight with a determined grin. Circuit was starting to get really confused. "What do you mean?" "Oh... right... Circuit..." said Rainbow Dash, "I should probably tell you... me and the others have magical powers." "How?" "The crown for the Fall Formal turned out to have magic powers and, well, it was technically Twilight's princess crown." Circuit's mind was overwhelmed from the gravity of the new things he was learning. "This is some 2001: A Space Odyssey stuff right here," he said.
Celestia nodded in approval. "I knew that I can count on all of you. Maybe you might just learn a thing or two Circuit" she laughed at the end
"Actually, Principal," said Circuit, "I think I'll be learning more from them. But the rest of the world isn't ready to know. Not yet."
Celestia nodded in approval. "I wish all of you the best trying to save my sister from herself. I know that it might not look like much, but all of you are going to make a world of difference" She told the group before looking at Twilight with a smile. "Some more then others...."
----- The next day, Luna's office "Oh, it's you seven again," said Nightmare Moon dismissively to the group, "come to complain about how I'm too strict?" "No, Luna," said Twilight Sparkle, "we're here to help you." "Help?" She let loose a blood-curdling, callous laugh. "Help, you say?! Where were you to help at the Spring Formal, Twilight Sparkle?!? WHY COULDN'T YOU HELP THEN?! When we needed you most... YOU! WEREN'T THERE!!" "It doesn't give you the right to take it out on the students!" replied Twilight, "Many of them were as scared as you were, yet they didn't turn into paranoid wrecks." "YOU DARE--" "Yes, I dare," said Twilight confidently, "because if we don't, no one else will." Spoiler: Music for scene Nightmare Moon's facial expression changed. Her face was no longer filled with hate or self-righteous stoicism, but fear and regret. Twilight held out her hand. "It doesn't have to be this way, Luna." Nightmare Moon considered for a moment as the memories of the Spring Formal came flooding back to her. She closed her eyes and shed a single tear as she reached out to take Twilight's hand. As she grabbed it, her hair darkened and became more vibrant, her skin tone became a lighter shade of blue, her eye color darkened, and her pupils were rounded once more. "I never meant for any of this," said Luna, in a voice that was softer and less colder than before.
124 Avenue Lane; Downtown Canterlot USA. 9:46pm, April 12th 2014 Spoiler: Music for scene Crimson and Orchid both walked into a large office lobby, as security guards wondered about on the ground floor. Crim, having stolen some of Orchid's father's equipment, had a black trenchcoat over his clothing, while Orchid wore a knee and arm pads over her sports jacket. The room included a metal detector and a fence that prevented any other possible entry through to the rest of the building. The two of them wondered inside the room as they were almost immediately stopped by a guard. "Please state your business, ma'am" The guard said to Orchid, to which the teen smirked. "Don't you know the bosses daughter when you see her?" She told them. The guard shrugged. "I understand ma'am, but I need to make sure." He said while Crim picked up a large black sports bag and walked through the metal detector, as another guard stopped him after detecting something in Crim's coat. "Please remove any metallic items that you are carrying, keys, loose change an-" The guard said before Crim suddenly revealed a large arsenal of weapons, brandishing pistols, SMGs, and rifles. The guard looked at the weapons in utter horror as he suddenly realized what was happening. ".......Holy sh-" The guard said before a sudden palm to his chest rocketed him across the floor and alerting the other guards, before two SMG's were pulled from Crim's coat and mowed down all of the guards on the lobby on both sides before taking cover behind a tiled pillar. One guard survived while taking cover, holding a walkie talkie as he held his side-arm. "Send backup...." Crim then went around the corner and merely shot him where he stood before looking at Orchid, nodding to continue. The first guard that Orchid had spoken to was merely knocked out with a taser to the neck instead, before she went through the metal detector herself to retrieve the bag. Inside the bag was more then enough weaponry to take out whatever stood in their way, but Orchid took her personal favorite weapon out. A long single-edged katana.... The two of them headed towards the elevator, as things were about to get bloody....
Crimson and Orchid rushed through the building, suddenly blowing away entire groups of thugs and mobsters that dared to oppose them. Crimson went for a long-range response with riflefire that overwhelmed the gang members, occasionally switching to close-quarters whenever he gets close enough. Orchid however, went completely close and personal with the use of her Katana, usually flanking groups of thugs from the side. Combined with her small frame and lightning speed, along with Crim's own martial skill, the two of them began to clear floor after floor like a group of Navy Seals. The two of them were achieving insane kill/death ratios, and were close to the penthouse. The moment they got to the Penthouse however, one more obstacle stood in their path. 50 defenders, armed to the teeth, defending a very large floor masquerading as an office-building. The moment they opened upon the elevator, they opened fire... To nothing.... Upon closer inspection, a small group of mobsters went inside of the elevator to inspect what was going on. But just as some of them stepped in, the entire elevator gave way as the wire was suddenly cut from above, and the entire elevator became a deathtrap as it headed towards the ground floor at full speed, dooming everyone inside before the sound of a deafening explosion was sounded at the bottom... And not a moment later, Crim and Orchid burst out of the air-vents. Starting the dangerous game again...
----- "WHAT DID YOU JUST ****ING SAY, MATE?!" shouted Orchid's enraged father at one of his men, throwing him across the room. "Your daughter, boss..." he gasped, "she and her friend... their after you..." "MOTHER****ERS!!" he said, punching through a window, "I'LL KILL THEM!!" ----- Once they had finally gotten past the swarm of guards, Orchid and Crim came to the hallway leading up to her father's office. "Stay here, Crim," she told him, "I have to do this alone... It's personal."
Spoiler: Music for scene Crim looked at Orchid sadly, before stepping away from her sadly to the side as she continued without him. He never knew that if she walked through that door, he would ever see her again. And if she did, she might have come out of the door as a different person. Orchid holstered the samurai sword on her back and pushed open both of the doors to his office, leaving Crim alone in the hallway. She walked through the doors of the luxurious office, with a grand carpet floor with the center of the room looking as shiny as glass, two water fountains on either side of the room, a Jacuzzi and the main office desk. In the room was merely another woman, looking somewhere between her 20s - 30s with short blonde hair and a pink vest. She walked towards Orchid as other woman pulled out a Ninja Sword. And in the middle of the room, there he sat. Sangira Bloom, Orchid's Father and the Master of the West Coast. "Leave him to me" The older woman said, before suddenly charging at the two of them at a speed that neither she or Crimson could replicate. She took her ninja sword and swung to the side of Orchid's neck, where the younger girl barely had time to dodge to the right by rolling out of the way as she pulled her own Katana out. Sangira watched intensely as the two women fought, but it seemed that the other woman was far more experienced then Orchid was and began to overwhelm her in some areas. But just as the killing blow was supposed to be delivered, Orchid managed to throw a solid gold trophy from across the room that managed to hit the older woman in the skull, fracturing it but still keeping her alive as she crawled towards Sangira. But Orchid's Father just pulled a gun out of his jacket, and coldly shot his own bodyguard in the middle of the head to end her misery. Now, it was just a reunion between the family. Orchid had no idea about the amount of rage that she was suppressing for some reason. For some reason, she wanted answers. No...demanded answers from her father, who just looked at her calmly. The reason why she was stripped away from the one peaceful life she had back in Australia, why she was taught to fight, steal and kill in order to survive and become the "heir" to the family. The reason between her fathers hate between him and Crimson, and her 'petty' love feud with him as a child. And the reason why Orchids mother was murdered. "Not bad, I'm Impressed!" Sangira suddenly said to break the silence. "Now I suppose that it's just you and me now....I wonder what gave you this taste for blood?" He then stood up from his desk. "Yet again, you've always had it inside of you. Ever since I seen the potential in you, ever since we started our new life together. We would have never been anyone back in Australia, but now we are Kings and Queens of our own destiny! Don't you realize this, daughter? I had to sacrifice not only your childhood, but I sacrificed everything for you!" Then it it her like a wave, everything that her father had done began to come full circle. Orchid couldn't believe her eyes. She could have ended him right then and now, but she wanted to hear more. Orchid's father kept talking about his goals for him and his family, how he had sacrificed his life and hers in order to make it.Then afterwards, she then took a step towards him. "You bastard....." Orchid said, absolutely dripping with venom. "FATHER!" Sangira then just threw his arms open, gun still in hand. "Oh? You are approaching me? Of all people?" He smirked. "Instead of running away, you are coming right at me? Even despite everything that I've done for us? Everything that I have done in my power to remove that bastard Lionheart from our entire family becoming Kings and Queens?" "I can't kill you if I don't get close enough..." Orchid sarcastically replied, still keeping her wit despite her overwhelming anger. "Oh ho! Then come as close as you like..." Sangira looked at her, the two of them coming closer and closer before suddenly then both took their guns out and aimed them at each other. Before a series of gunshots suddenly echoed loudly across the room. Crimson couldn't take it anymore after the deafening noise, and burst through. Only to see Sangira having two giant bullet-holes in his shoulders and around a dozen in his stomach, along with one round barely grazing his skull. Orchid surprisingly, didn't take any, likely due to her shooting first. Crimson went to stand next to Orchid as her father crawled away to the window, looking over at the rest of the city's skyscrapers and suburbia. The two long-childhood friends then went over to the now-bleeding Sangira as he began to bleed out. Orchid raised her pistol one more time at his head, to which Crim placed his hand over hers, hoping to end this side of their life forever. But instead, the Father just shook his head and laughed quietly. "No...I'm going to die on my own terms.....I love you Orchid~" Sangira told her and Crimson before taking his gun from the ground and he denying the two of them catharsis, by shooting himself in the head. The Nightmare was finally over, and the Nightmare that had been following the two of them for nearly ten years died as well. Prior to tonight, Orchid and Crimson always had to fight for survival. But now...they were free.
Or so they thought... It turned out that Sangira had given one final order to his men before his death. He had sent some of his men to the nuclear power plant on the outskirts of town to send it into a nuclear meltdown. If he was going to die, he wanted to take all of Canterlot with him...
The two of them quickly realised this and tried their best to prevent the destruction of Canterlot and the deaths of millions. However, things would take a turn for the worst on that night. They just didn't realise it....
As they entered the power plant, they raced against time to get to the reactor. However, when they arrived, all the staff were dead. The mooks set to work on sending the reactor into meltdown, but soon enough, the two made short work of them. Finally, it was time to get to work on preventing the largest nuclear disaster since the 2011 Japanese earthquake. Unfortunately, however, only one of them could get inside, and there were no radiation suits in either one of their sizes. "I'm going in," said Orchid somberly, knowing what she had to do.
Orchid went towards the reactor, but the door closed behind her. Crim banged against the glass, but it seemed that he would be unable to prevent anything. "NO! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN!" He screamed, but it was too late. Orchid weakly pressed the buttons to stop the reactor, but the door sealed behind her. It was a one-way trip, and now she was going to die. She pulled herself closer to the glass and placed her hand against it, to which Crim placed his hand on hers between the barrier. "Are we... out of danger? Orchid asked, dying. Crim began to tear up. "Yes..." Orchid had a slight smile on her face. "Do not grieve, Crimson. It is logical. The needs of the many, outweigh..." "The needs of the few." He finished her sentence. Orchid had her same confident smirk on her face, defiant to the end as she also began to tear up. "I have been, and always shall be, your friend..." She then teared up greatly before giving him one last smile. "I....love you Crimson~.....Live long....and prosper." Then just as it happened, Orchid fell dead at the scene. "No.....NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He screamed loudly. Orchid had confessed her love to Crimson for a second time, the first since she was a kid. Now...Crimson was left speechless. All she wanted was to originally spend the rest of her life with her one and only friend, and now that she had finally reached peace, she was taken away from him and the world. She might have died a hero, but...something changed within Crimson. Something inside of him completely snapped...
