MorphinBrony and Crimson's RP

With the four of them now officially being brought into power, it seems the heavens did smile on the human race. While unity did seem to prosper across the world, Hive tech was being reverse engineered to help protect Earth from any future threats. The UN was the temporary headquarters for the ARE, all the while a new building was being constructed for them elsewhere in the city that would have put the Capitol Building and the White House to shame.

Sunset took a position as a diplomat while being the Secretary of State for the ARE. While she now had similar abilities as her boyfriend did, she looked even more beautiful then she did before. Looking like a goddess, she was a good role model for women and children.

Crimson took things in a more scientific and militaristic point of view. He was concerned about the safety of the human race in the galaxy, and did everything he could in the name of defending the world and future which he focused on. With the new resources of a United Earth, technological advancement would increase almost 8x then it was before, 20 to 50x now if the Hive tech was to be reverse engineered. Terraforming and FTL travel wasn't only possible now, it was a miracle waiting to happen within the next few years.

For Crimson himself, while he wasn't the strongest or fastest in comparison to Circuit and Rainbow, he was the best fighter out of all of them. One focus on his augmentations was that he learnt every martial art and combat form in human history, almost like in the Matrix. Although, it had a 3% survival rate due to a side effect in the brain that caused rapid internal bleeding and shock that will kill in mere seconds. Even for a Metahuman brain, the chance of death was almost impossibly high. Not only did he survive and dodge a bullet, but it improved his already lethal abilities. He even had a new suit of armour and weapons that was specifically created just for him, almost completely unbreakable and perfect for his tastes. Although he didn't need the armour due to his immense durability, doing things in the armour would make him do things in style.

But his biggest discovery, thanks to Sunset, was a portal that led to the magical world of Equestria. This thrilled Lionheart greatly, an opportunity to talk and hopefully establish peaceful relations with another race. Although, he wasn't sure how to open this portal or how many could travel through. Crimson figured that this 'portal' was actually a wormhole to another location somewhere in the galaxy.

And...it was hiding in plain sight, located directly at a statue in CHS. Other portals could be discovered, but this one was the most well known. He took his opportunity to speak to Rainbow and Circuit about this, hopefully getting them to go along with the idea of building a better future.

 

"Sunset just told me about something...." Crimson started. "We've discovered a portal, a portal to a land known as Equestria. It has been hiding in plain sight as well, at the statue back in CHS. Sunset did say that sentient life exists there. Believe it or not, she's been there before. I was just thinking, that if we open up negotiations to the ruling power inside this land, anything could be possible."

 

"I think that it would be fine. If Sunset said its good place, I believe her. If she was unsure then I would be as unsure as anybody would." Crimson told Circuit. "Sunset wants me to come with her, she has knowledge about the land itself. Should prove useful."

 

Alright, Sunset wants to go with them. She seems eager to head to this 'Equestria', like something or someone is waiting for her when she gets there." Crimson said to Circuit.

After sometime, Sunset and a small party were at the portal. Sunset kissed Crimson and waved him goodbye as she her and her team went through the portal, vanishing in the blink of an eye. He would hear back from her from a few days, but she looked like she knew what she was doing. If something bad happened or if Crimson didn't hear from her after about a week, he was heading through.

He shouldn't worry however, she should be fine.

 

A week had passed, and Crimson had grown worried. Sunset went through the portal about a week ago, and she had only sent a letter to him back on Earth almost everyday. It only told him that everything was fine, the last letter came to him on a Tuesday. It was now a Friday, and he had heard nothing since then.

Maybe the letters that she sent didn't make it to Earth. Maybe she forgot to write one. Maybe something bad has happened. She couldn't have done anything wrong.

Just as he was done worrying, a letter finally came through to him and confirmed his suspicions. The tone seemed to be one of panic and danger. He was right to have been concerned, Equestria seemed to be facing a crisis of their own. Something they have never faced before was attacking them.

Crimson was going to head inside the portal and stop whatever was happening, helping Equestria and Sunset in the progress. His own world had just fallen under attack, he was not going to allow this one to suffer the same fate.

 

Crimson took a deep breath before looking at Rainbow. "Well....let's see what we find."

The two of them went towards the portal and went through, only to find themselves in a wastelandish landscape

 

"No idea, but it's best if we find out" Crimson told Rainbow Dash as he looked at his surroundings. Sunset had turned into a Pony when she went into the portal, but he didn't however. As he looked around, he could see the ruins of a large city in the mountains. While he had never heard of it before, it's name surprised him.

"Canterlot?"

 

As the two headed across the wasteland around them and towards Canterlot, Rainbow and Crimson couldn't help but notice the destruction that had taken ahold of the world around them. After a small walk, they found themselves in the ruins of the Canterlot, all of which was made up of the Palace and the suburbs around it. The two of them were approaching the castle to see if anyone of power was alive.

"What the hell happened here?" Crimson said quietly.

Just as he said that, guards appeared out of nowhere with spears and swords aimed at them, all of them were ponies. They were all afraid and didn't look very experienced, likely a local militia.

"We don't want any trouble. We are here as ambassadors from the ARE, we want to find our friend and help with any internal conflicts." Crimson asked, much to the puzzled expressions to the guards. One of the guards went to the two humans and opened the gate for them.

"Please enter, the Princesses would love to speak to you."

 

As the two were led along the halls of the palace, they soon came to meet with the Princesses who were both in their own thrones. Princess Luna and Celestia alongside Princess Cadence and Sparkle had taken refuge inside of the palace. Once they made it inside of their view, Crimson bowed to the royal presence before them out of respect.

 

"We were attacked by something, this giant...beast that we have never seen before. We tried to stop it, but it would risk leaving the last safe city in Equestria exposed." Celestia told the two. "It's taken captives as well, I believe that it captures survivors for some purpose."

"And that must be where Sunset is." Crimson said to Dash.

"You know Sunset Shimmer?" Twilight asked him.

Crimson only nodded in response. "She's my girlfriend"
