"I would say that it looked like a dragon, but it was too horribly mutated beyond anything like that. A blackish purple coat, blood red eyes, it's easily twice the size of the palace itself. The only reason that the city hasn't fallen is because of the shield that protects it." Celestia told the two.

Crimson scratched his head in thought before coming up with a conclusion. If he was to rescue this world from this beast, and save Sunset and the lives of Equestrians everywhere, he was going to slay a dragon.

"We'll kill this beast. We will also rescue all that this creature has taken hostage." Crimson said as he looked at the watch on arm. With the press of a button, his armour manifested around him as his arms, torso and legs were covered in almost unbreakable armour. His mask didn't form around him yet, but he didn't need it yet anyway. Crimson's special sword then appeared in the holster on his back, while he already had various guns in its holsters.

"No sword can kill this beast" Cadence said before noticing something about the sword in question. It was easily not an Equestrian design, but the blade had this special quality about it.

"This isn't a normal sword, this is a High Frequency Blade. This can cut through almost anything, and is almost indestructible." Crimson told the Alicorns before him. "Don't worry Princesses, we will save your kingdom."

 

(Well, this thread was dead for about a billion years. Good to be back, kinda missed it actually.)

Crimson and Rainbow both left the palace and headed across Equestria, looking for this beast

 

Smoke was coming from a cave inside of a mountain, which could have only meant one thing. Crimson looked at the cave with determination before turning to face Dash.

"Looks like we found it. Are you ready?"

 

Crimson went in first to find that the entire cave was pitch black from the smoke. A second later, he took a flare from his armor and threw it down the cave, almost like a bottomless abyss.

A second later, a tremendous roar was heard and screams of innocents cried out

 

Crimson ran directly up the walls of the cave and leapt into the air before heading into a downward spiral towards the beast with his HF blade.

The Dragon soon regained consciousness as he noticed Crimson heading down towards him. Before he could fire a torrent of flames at him, Crimson made contact and decapitated the dragon with one clean strike. Crimson landed cleanly as the dragon fell behind him, dead.

 

With the beast dead, Equestria was now saved. However, Crimsons job was not finished. Upon searching the walls, he found all of the ponies that the dragon had taken hostage. Thousands of them came to see Rainbow and Crimson as heroes, but soon Sunset appeared. However, something was off about her. She was a pony.

The first thing she did when she found Crim was leap into the air and hug him tightly; causing Crimson to fall down backwards onto the ground with him in her arms. Crimson was surprised about her appearance, before noticing Rainbow behind him.

"How are yo-" Crimson got out before being stopped by Sunset.

"I have some Equestrian blood in my veins, it was genetic. Whenever I travel to Equestria, I turn into a pony. If you are a full human however, this doesn't happen." Sunset told him. "It's a long story, I'll tell you when we get back to the palace. I've really missed you."

"And I've missed you." Crimson playfully smiled, before the two kissed each other.

 

(Wall of text incoming!)

Crimson rose from the ground, allowing Sunset to drop onto the ground next to him. He didn't know what to do, almost everything he had been told was a lie. He knew that Sunset had undeniably told him the truth, especially about her parents. But it seemed that this shock was too much for him

"Crimson...are you ok?" Sunset asked her boyfriend.

Crimson was unresponsive though, he looked at the ground silently. This news was not something that he could take lightly. He looked at the two Rainbows and Sunset before walking away out of the cave.. Sunset was going to rush over to him before Pony-Dash put a hoof on her shoulder and almost gave her a motherly expression.

"We should give him some time to be alone." Rainbow asked the other pony. Sunset sighed in response as she watched Crimson leave the cave and into the overcast sky outside, which sunshine was returning since the Dragons demise. "He's upset and confused about this, he might need some time to process this. Physical scars can heal, but emotional scars take longer. How much did he know anyway?"

"He knows some, but I never brought up being Equestrian." Sunset said before looking at the two Rainbow Dash counterparts. "I....never had the courage to tell him."

After a couple of hours, Crimson was sitting by himself looking across the burnt yet recovering farmlands and towns of the Equestrian countryside while sitting at the top of the tallest mountain that he could find. The cold air around him blew tremendously around the mountain, adding to the mood that Crimson couldn't help but feel betrayed somehow. He was sure that Sunset had her reasons and that she would have been nervous about this type of thing, but the feeling inside of him hurt him. He wasn't crying nor did he need to, he just felt a pain emotionally worse then the worst of injuries.

Even at the top of the world, it didn't stop a figure in a black cloak stand behind him. Even with Crimson's astronomical perception, this figure appeared out of nowhere. He was a pony, but something was especially off about this character. There was a unease around the aura of this pony that felt undeniably evil. His cloak didn't reveal any of his face, but it was more then enough to prove that whoever he was dealing with, it was dangerous.

"You've survived, congratulations" The figure spoke with a deep gravely voice. "No doubt that you are a talented, but what I've just seen before exceeded my expectations."

Crimson quickly took his sword out from it's holster and pointed it at the figure, not taking any chances. "Who are you?"

The figure said before taking off his hood to reveal an Alicorn as black as night with a Green and Black mane. His eyes were shades of fiery red and yellow, as if he was a demon. "Somepony important in this cosmic game of things. You see, I've created that dragon with the sole intention to bring you and your female companions to me. Now that you are here, I've come to see things through."

"See what through?" Crimson demanded. "If you want to kill me and my friends, you could have done it before. That's not your objective though."

The Alicorn just chuckled in response. "No. What I have come to summon you here is for a good reason, I wanted to see how powerful you were. You exceeded my expectations. It was such a shame that the Hive attacked your precious Earth be-"

"Equestria was also attacked?"

"Yes, before they went offline because of you and your friend Rainbow Dash. Equestria isn't located in another dimension, it's inside your own Galaxy. Although, far enough away to prevent contact with each other." The Alicorn said before looking at the skies then Crimson. "Such a fragile soul, corruption will soon get to you."

"Corruption?"

"Yes. Corruption of your very soul. I've come to save you from a fate that you would find to be worse then death. Sunset Shimmer, will die in your arms alongside your friends and everything you care about. The weak shall be consumed, and the strong shall thrive in the new world that I will build for Equestria and Earth.

"LIAR!" Crimson shouted as he pressed the tip of his blade against the Alicorns throat. Although dozens of different emotions wanted him to kill the pony before him, he felt a burning sensation inside of him.

"Goooood. I can feel your anger and hatred, how it burns to be unleashed. Your despair, your loss. Everything that makes you strong. Strike me down, give yourself to corruption and you shall experience power beyond your wildest dreams! Under my guidance, you could become the most powerful being in the universe"

Crimson glared hatefully at the Alicorn before putting his sword back into its sheath. This Alicorn seemed to be overflowing with dark magic. If Crimson gave himself to him, if he walked that dark tunnel, he would never see light again.

"No." Crimson said coldly.

"So be it. Corruption will soon get to you, Lionheart. I will get to you, and you won't even realize it. When it happens, you will never see me coming."

With that, the Alicorn vanished before Crimsons eyes through a violet mist. Something was wrong, very wrong, he could feel it. This stranger was going to create a Darwinist world where he was the king, all the while murdering anyone that crossed paths with him. He had to report this back to the Princesses immediately.

(Does the Skeleton Dance)

While Crimson watched what happened with Rainbow, the Alicorn from before watched the ordeal in secret. His plan was working perfectly, his plan to get revenge on everypony that has betrayed him. His revenge against Celestia.

A few years ago, he secretly corrupted Sunset Shimmer in order to cause a rift between the two. While his plan worked with Sunset being exiled to the human world as her corruption turned her into a wicked and horrible person, Celestia was quick to find a replacement and his plan to attack her was postponed. That replacement happened to be made a powerful Princess now. Now that this 'Twilight Sparkle' has managed to remove the corruption that was killing her light from the inside, she came back and was augmented.

The Male Alicorn couldn't hold his excitement, it seems the human Rainbow Dash had a much weaker will then Crimson did. Oh well, Crimson could come later. Right now, he had an army to create and two worlds to conquer.

 

"Rainbow...fight it." Crimson told Rainbow simply. Her aura was now corrupted by powerful dark magic, which made her vastly more dangerous then she had been a few minutes ago. Crimson looked over at his friend, who had changed in terms of appearance. She looked demonic, although she still undeniably looked like the woman she went inside the portal with. Her eyes were the same as the Alicorn he was talking to a minute ago.

She then noticed Sunset and Pony-Dash on the ground far below, concerned what was going on. Before he could warn them, Rainbow went for the kill. Before she could make contact however, Crimson moved fast enough to move the two out the way. Shocked with what had happened, Sunset and Pony-Dash were terrified of what they seen. Crimson stood Human-Dash down before telling the two something.

"Get to Canterlot as fast as you can! Rainbow's been corrupted, warn Circuit. Both of our worlds are now in danger." Crimson said before noticing the two still standing there, complete in fear. "GO!"

Sunset and Rainbow quickly ran towards Canterlot before Crimson turned back at the corrupted friend before him. Conflict was inevitable as Crimson cracked his neck and fingers as he got into a stance.

"I'm sorry. I will do what I must."

The other male Alicorn still hung about from before, watching everything that was about to unfold. If Crimson won or lost the battle was none of his concern, he just wanted him roughened up before he would corrupt him. Doing so on his own terms was not going to happen, his will power was far too powerful. Instead, he was going to do so manually.

 

After a brief encounter, Crimson was completely knocked down. Even through all he felt was a push of Rainbows aura, he couldn't even get up. His entire body was completely numb, mustering enough to slowly turn his head every now and then. He watched as Rainbow walked away from the scene before vanishing, feeling like he had helped create something monstrous. He cursed at himself before noticing the Alicorn from before appear besides him. "Five minutes. That is what it took to only reduce one of Earth's greatest heroes to a numb form of himself. It seems that I didn't have to wait. Your companion, Rainbow Dash, was easier to corrupt then expected. But we all know that your the real prize."

Crimson could only gather weak breaths before looking at this Alicorn. "You could at least tell me your name."

The Alicorn then looked at him before a sly smile came about his face. "Fine. You should know who is responsible for what the future unhold's. I was once Midnight Dawn, child of the Equestrian Royal Family. Midnight was named in memory of Princess Luna, due to him being born merely hours after her banishment. Midnight, aside from being physically powerful and incredibly intelligent, had the potential to become the strongest magic user in the universe. A living god, so to speak. His accomplishment's in the arcane arts were godlike, and nothing short of his mother could stop him. However, Celestia seen him as a threat and was forced to have her own son turned to stone out of fears for his power, and hidden where nothing could ever find him.Midnight turned to the dark arts, which made him stronger then anything both of our worlds could even dream about."

"You're Midnight?" Crimson

"No. Midnight had been dealt with, he's been imprisoned for longer then you could imagine. I'm...his other half. Im Midnights dark side. I'm the living embodiment of corruption and power. Corruption spreads like a disease, hence the name I have given myself seems rather fitting. My name is Dark Plague." The Alicorn revealed before standing on the top of Crimson.

"What's....going to happen."

Plague then looked at Crimson as he placed his hoof onto Crimson's torso, where a deep purple liquid started to envelop him slowly. Crimson couldn't fight back against this, he knew that he was done for. Plague then separated into several clones as they all took off into the skies above, all the while the original figure remained still as he corrupted Crimson slowly but powerfully.

"I will watch you die... with a certain satisfaction, I might add. You will be reborn as a new man. And now, here I stand because of you, Mr. Lionheart. I might take the time to thank you actually. While Rainbow is running your homeworld, her corruption seeks out for power. Total power, power which I'm able to grant her. You'll want the same as well. Once you accept your new self, you won't want to change back." Plague responded as the purple liquid completely covered his legs, arms and torso. Only a quarter of his head remained normal, although the liquid was heading into his mouth as it drowned him from the inside out. "You'll be perfect."

Crimson then looked at Plague. Sunset must have come close to finding help or getting anyone to safety, she had to. From what he now gathered, Earth was now lost. Now this land was going to suffer the same fate. He felt the corruption take ahold of him as he felt his own spirit and aura be corrupted with this own foul presence. He looked at Plague in anger, but couldn't help the feeling that he failed the two worlds. Everything that he cared about was going to die, and it was all his fault.

Plague then slammed his hoof clean through Crimson's seemingly indestructible torso and armor in one clean strike, his divine strength giving him the ability to do so. This rapidly sped up the corruption progress on such a powerfully willed hero. Crimson felt his eyes close as he began to slip unto unconsciousness.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way."

Sunset and the Equestrian Rainbow Dash rushed to Canterlot as fast as their bodies were able to take them. They burst through the palace gates as the guards barely had time to open them. By the time the two of them made it to the throne room, where the princesses had gathered in concern, the two of them were scared out of their wits. Rainbow was exhausted, while Sunset's augmentations gave her seemingly infinite stamina. The Princesses looked deeply troubled at what caused the Element of loyalty and a reformed criminal to burst into the room in a panic, but whatever it was was enough to ask questions.

"Princess....Other me.....evil....Crimson...." The exhausted Pegasus said between breaths as she struggled to get words out.

"Woah, easy there Rainbow. Relax for a second." Twilight responded before Sunset looked at the princesses in determination and took a step fowards.

"Your majesty's. Evacuate Canterlot immediately....Crimson and Rainbow are fighting, and Rainbow has been corrupted."

"Corrupted? But how, and in what form? I don't see how this cou-" Princess Cadence said before noticing Celestia's jaw drop in a shocked silence, all the while the cup of coffee she had just taken a drink of fell to the ground and shattered underneath them.

"Princess Celestia? Is something wrong" Twilight joined in as Celestia kept the same stare on her face, her eyes starting to water on the verge of tears. Celestia looked at the others as she reluctantly got up from her throne.

"He's back. We need to evacuate Canterlot, we are at war."
