11:34 p.m. Circuit arrived at his house, ready for bed. However, when he unlocked the door, there was a massive explosion, the force of which sent Circuit flying backwards, unconscious. He would have died if it weren't for a passing motorist, who noticed him on the ground. The passerby immediately took him to the hospital. Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
News about Crimson and Circuit were almost unheard of at the school. Many figured that the two were taking a day off, even Rainbow and her friends. However, the worst news came in the worst possible way. Graphic photos of the two had been taken in the worst of their conditions and were dumped en masse across CHS in a massive terror attack. Crimson was bloodied and bruised while he leaned against his destroyed car. Circuit's was taken moments after the explosion. Messages were written at the bottom of each photo as well, messages meant to install fear amongst the students. The news only got worse. Large versions of the photos taken were inside Rainbow and Sunset's lockers. This was an attack, expertly planned; to ruin the lives of those they cared the most.
Meanwhile, Circuit had been recovering in the hospital. He was surprised to find Crimson in the bed next to him. ----- Rainbow Dash, instead of feeling afraid, felt enraged. Who would dare do such a thing to Circuit? While she didn't forget that Crimson was also hurt, Circuit took priority. "WHEN I FIND OUT WHO DID THIS TO CIRCUIT..." said Rainbow Dash, blind with fury, then she paused for a moment, and tried to think of who would want Circuit dead. Then it hit her. It was her co-captain on the soccer team, the girl who was always pushing Circuit around in P.E., the only girl who didn't have a date at the prom. "Spitfire..." she said, "THAT ***HOLE!!!" ----- Later that day, after soccer practice, she walked up to Spitfire and said, "Can I talk to you in private for a moment, Spitfire?" "Um, sure, I guess..." Spitfire said nervously as she followed Rainbow to the locker room. Once inside, Rainbow shut the door and pinned Spitfire against the wall. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO CIRCUIT?!?" demanded Rainbow Dash, overflowing with hatred and fury. "I-I didn't do anything..." replied Spitfire nervously. "W-w-what are you t-talking about?" Rainbow Dash pulled the picture out of her pocket showing Circuit; second-degree burns covering his body, his suit burned, his limbs bent in directions they shouldn't bend, the side of his skull chipped off. It was then that Spitfire realized the jig was up. Maybe it wasn't the smartest move to release those pictures. "Alright, fine," said Spitfire, "You got me. I did it. I blew up his house. But it was so worth it. You should have seen the looks on your classmate's faces. Especially poor Fluttershy. She went into tears when she found out..." "SHUT UP, YOU WH*RE!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she punched Spitfire in the stomach, then proceeded to beat Spitfire to a pulp.
Crimson's attackers were indeed at school, but nobody knew exactly who they were. For all they knew, the four responsible for nearly killing him didn't actually attend CHS. Flash Sentry and his associates merely faked their surprise and told them that they had nothing to do with it. Crimson was now in an induced coma because of them. The news of Crimson and Circuit spread across the school like wildfire, exactly like they thought it would. Evidence from the scene revealed that the driver of the stolen pickup truck had run from the scene, and that DNA samples were non-existent. Many students were in utter disbelief. Some were disgusted, some cried. Sunset actually needed support from her friends after coming close to breaking down when she heard the news. The rest of the girls stood besides Rainbow and Sunset, all of them happy to lend a hand and get back at the monsters responsible. --------------------------------------------------- Crimson woke up in the hospital, defying all odds that the doctors said of him never waking up. He looked to see Circuit next to him, serious burns across his body. The moment he tried to remember what happened last night, he remembered the masks of those who attacked him. A rooster, a wolf, a owl and a rabbit. All of them had beaten him to an inch of his life, as he remembered their laughter. It wasn't hard to describe the emotions of pure unadulterated rage that washed over him.
Circuit tried to turn his head toward Crimson, and felt surprisingly little pain as he did so. "Crimson... what... are... you... doing... here...?" he said slowly, his vocal cords slightly damaged in the incident. "What... happened... to... you...?" ----- Meanwhile, at lunch, Rainbow Dash told the other girls that she found out who nearly killed Circuit. "Spitfire, huh?" said Applejack. "Ah always knew she had some beef with Circuit, but, damn..." "Why would she go so far as to nearly KILL another student?" asked Rarity. "I know she hates him, but seriously, has she no boundaries?" "I knew that meanie was up to no good last night..." said Pinkie Pie, her uncanny ability to make wild, yet correct, guesses working its magic again. But Fluttershy, of all people, was the most bitter upon hearing the news. "Why am I not surprised," she sneered with a sigh. Apparently, someone was eavesdropping on their conversation, because the next thing they knew, someone shouted, "SPITFIRE DID IT!!! SPITFIRE BLEW UP CIRCUIT!!!" The entire cafeteria turned to look at Spitfire's table. Spitfire smiled weakly and said, "Um... what's up, guys?" The next thing she knew, she was being pummeled by an angry mob.
Crimson looked down at his arms, surprisingly finding restraints on them. For a moment, he calmed down and tried to make sentences whenever his vocal cords allowed it. "I was attacked. Four guys wearing animal masks.....drove something into my car.....took me out and almost beat me to death." He then looked at the restraints before his anger returned back to him, trying to get himself out of bed. He shook himself violently before realizing that it was going to do more harm then good. He looked back at Circuit. "Were you attacked as well?" ------------------------------------ While Spitfire was being dealt with, Sunset had her head buried into her arms. While the girls watched at the scene revolving around Circuit's attempted murder, they she spoke up about Crimson as well. "Crimson is still alive." Applejack suddenly said. "I do understand that he was attacked as well, although I suspect that this was another attacker." "Crimson's attack seemed to be more creative. The attackers knew exactly what time he was going to leave, what route he would take going home and where to hit him." Rarity told them. "This plan would have been in the works for weeks, you don't come up with this stuff on the spot" "But who could have done this? Crimson hasn't hurt anybody, why would somebody target him?" Fluttershy protested. "Must have been one of the boys" Pinkie added. Sunset said nothing however, her head still buried into her arms. She felt absolutely miserable, and she had every right to be.
Circuit thought back to the previous night. The last thing he remembered was trying to unlock the door to his house. "Not... exactly..." he replied, "I... think... my... house... was... blown... up..." ----- Rainbow Dash thought for a moment. Then she said, "Sunset, you went out with Flash Sentry last year, right?" "Yeah, so?" Sunset said between sobs. "I have a feeling that he was jealous of Crimson, and must have done everything he could to get rid of him!" "Why didn't I think of that?" asked Rarity, "It makes so much sense!" "Not to mention Flash denied it upfront," said Applejack, "Seems fishy to me." "Come to think of it," said Pinkie, "I think I saw four guys in animal masks leave school in a truck last night, and Flash was gone!" "Well, ladies, we found our man," said Rainbow Dash. Sunset's emotions switched on a dime from misery to anger. "I want him to pay," she said, "He'll regret messing with me and my boyfriend!" All of a sudden, the mob beating up Spitfire stopped when they heard Sunset. Their shock was unreal. "Do my ears decieve me? Does she actually care about him?" "So she DOES have a heart..." "I guess I was wrong about her..." "And to think she used to make our lives hell..." Sunset was relieved to hear these things, as she thought to herself, Now's my chance to show them I'm not a monster! She walked over to Flash Sentry and demanded, "What did you do to him, you bastard?" "I don't know what you mean, Sunny," said Flash. Sunset pulled out a picture of Crimson's brutally beaten body. "Sunset, you gotta be kidding..." he said, "I would never try to hurt your boyfriend..." "Oh, yeah?" said Sunset, "Where were you at 11:00 on prom night?" Flash was stunned. Normally, he had his allibi ready, but Sunset, his ex-girlfriend, was staring him down, with a look of rage on her face. "Okay, it's true!" he said. "I did it, I hurt him!" "I KNEW IT!!" said Sunset as she slapped him. She then turned to the crowd and shouted, "I FOUND CRIMSON'S ATTACKER! COME AND GET HIM!" And they did. Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
While Flash was getting beaten, Sunset had a relieved smirk on her face. She felt satisfaction like she had never felt before when she watched Flash get beaten. He deserved it, especially after all the atrocities he did to her back when they were both dating. Even better, Crimson likely wanted to get his revenge on Flash more then anything else in the world. She went back over to the girls and sat down, smiling for the first time in a while.
Later that day, a nurse said to Crimson and Circuit, "You two have visitors." In came Rainbow and Sunset. "Rainbow...!" said Circuit, "Do... you... know... who... did... this... to... us...?" "They've been taken care of," Rainow responded. "What you need to focus on... is recovery." Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
Crimson adjusted himself in his bed as he looked around at the two girls, a sight for sore eyes. They were right about the recovery however, Crimson didn't even know what day it was. All he wanted to do was get out of the hospital once they were healed and return to a normal life.
The next day, Circuit and Crimson were surprised to find that they had recovered from their injuries astonishingingly fast, though they were still far from able to return to school, where Spitfire and Flash Sentry recently got expelled from. Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
Crimson couldn't help but feel disappointed. As much as he would have liked to kick Flash Sentry's teeth in; his enemy had been expelled from school. Not only that, but Spitfire and Flash were receiving criminal charges for attempted murder amongst other things. Flash was actually supposed to get somewhere between five to fifteen years behind bars for his act, although he was too young to be sent to prison and would spend some time in Juvenile. His other associates were still at the school though, but they didn't really speak up about their involvement.

The whole thing had been planned by Pinkie, and most of the school cheered triumphantly when the two of them came into the room. Streamers, balloons, music and food surrounded the room. This was almost like a huge birthday party. The first couple of faces that the two of them seen were Rainbow and Sunsets, who was with the rest of their friends. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were amongst the crowd, eager to celebrate the return of two students who were innocently attacked out of sheer hatred.
Circuit looked around and said, "This is rather nice of you girls! Not that I'd expect anything less from you." Rainbow Dash blushed and said, "It was nothing, really. It was the least we could do."
Crimson looked about, impressed with what he found. The girls were really eager to see them alongside the rest of the school. This day was all about him and Circuit, and they intended to savour every moment of it. While everybody was talking and the Principals both left, Sunset took the opportunity she had been waiting for since the end of Prom. People have started to believe that she was actually a nice and friendly person, but this was going to cement the fact she cared for Crimson. Without warning, she went up to Crimson and took him by the neck. Before he even realised it, Sunset gave him the most passionate and romantic kiss she had ever given him. Many gasped in surprise and shock, It seemed that Sunset really did care for him. Likely much more then what people thought she did, it was almost like he was her entire world. When the kiss did break, it utterly blew Crimsons mind away. "W.....wow." Crimson said quietly before Sunset hugged him tightly, out of happiness that he had returned but out of sadness for nearly losing him.
Circuit patted Crimson on the back and said, "Congrats, bro." However, Rainbow Dash tapped Circuit on the shoulder, and Circuit turned around to find that she was holding a Commodore 64 in the original box. "Welcome back," she said. (Time-skip) About two weeks have passed since Circuit and Crimson returned back to the school. While life returned as normal, it seemed that trouble would always find itself between Crimson and his friends. On a Monday morning, an anonymous letter was found in Crimson's locker. He looked into it, and immediately felt disgusted about it. It only said... I'm coming for you, get ready. It's personal now. -Flash It seemed this idiot wasn't done just yet. His life might have been ruined by Crimson, but it would have never happened if he didn't attack him. Flash thought that he was big enough and bad enough to not play by the rules, and the fact he tried to get away with murder.
Circuit opened his locker to find a note. "What's this?" he asked himself. He read it, and was disturbed by what he read: Prepare yourself, you little sh#%. This time, it's personal. -Spitfire Great, Circuit thought, Just what I need. He had already nearly died because of her, and now she wanted revenge over something that was her fault. He ran to Rainbow Dash's locker and told her about the note. "Don't worry about it," she said, "I'll handle her." Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
Crimson came around the corner, cracking his knuckles and neck. He had come to see Circuit and Rainbow about this. Only to find that they both got something similar. "Some people..." He said.
