"Damn. I would have loved to stay and chat, but I've got history now." Crimson said to the two of them. "I'll catch up later." Crimson then had to run off to attend history, he didn't want to be late. Especially since they were watching a movie for a project.
"Alright, see ya!" said Circuit as he and Spitfire went off to first period. (Time-skipsies!) At soccer practice, Spitfire and Rainbow Dash, the co-captain, were having a quick chat. "Hey, Spits," said Rainbow Dash, "I'm interested in a guy, but I don't know how to tell him..." "Well, who's the lucky guy?" Spitfire asked. "Circuit Breaker." "Yeah... about that... She didn't show any signs on the outside, but inside, Rainbow Dash's heart just utterly broke. She sort of shuffled her feet and kicked aimlessly at the ground. "Oh....oh okay." Rainbow said as she relaxed herself with an arm around her head, not trying to make things awkward. She tried her best to not let her feelings show, and she was doing a good job at it. Because on the inside, she was screaming at herself for being so stupid. She felt like that she was going to burst into tears. She's liked Circuit for a long time now, and she had no idea on how to tell him. If she did, she might have feared that her reputation could be destroyed. But she was going to cast that aside and tell him how she felt and what the heart wants. But now...
Spitfire knew how Rainbow Dash felt and tried to comfort her. "Hey, Dash, listen, I know how it feels to find out your crush is taken," she said while patting Rainbow on the back. "I once had a crush on Soarin, but he was going out with Fleetfoot." Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER

Class finished early, so the rest of History class went out and watched the practice match. Crimson took a seat on the front bench
Circuit also came out to watch the practice game. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash noticed that Circuit was in the crowd. She tried not to cry and continue with the match. Circuit noticed that Rainbow Dash was holding back tears. When there was a break in the match, he went up to her. "What's wrong?" he asked. Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER

Rainbow took a deep breath. "Circuit, I understand that you're going out with Spitfire now. But...I've....liked you. I mean, loved you, for a long time now. I was going to ask you out today but I didn't know how to tell you."
After hearing this news, a part of Circuit felt guilty. But he didn't let that overwhelm him. "Listen, Rainbow, you're a very beautiful, talented, and, dare I say it, sexy young woman. Had it not been for Spitfire, I would have said yes. You know why? Because I've had a crush on you since the fourth grade. The moment you would have asked me, I would have been all over it. Sadly, it's too late, but while I may be dating Spitfire, I don't want you to think we can't be friends. On the contrary, I would love to be your friend. And if it doesn't work out with Spitfire, and you're still available, you will be my next choice. No hard feelings." Upon hearing this, Rainbow Dash felt relieved, knowing not only that she would have won him over had he not accepted Spitfire's request, but also that Circuit still valued her. Granted, this wasn't what she had hoped for, but it was close enough. "Thanks, Circuit," said Rainbow, "You really know how to make a girl feel better. I would be more than happy to be your friend." At that moment, the whistle blew. "Make sure you and Spits win the next match," said Circuit, "Get out there and make me proud." "You got it," replied Rainbow Dash as she headed back on the field. He went back to the stands, and watched as Rainbow Dash, with her confidence boosted, made an excellent comeback.
The soccer game did a complete 180 degree turn in terms of results. Rainbow and Spitfire's team suddenly came out of nowhere and made an enormous comeback, and would also result in a victory out of a score of 3-1. The crowd celebrated the victory as if it was just like any other sports game. Crimson clapped in response to the victory, celebrating Spitfire and Dash's team. (I'm back baby!)
(Yay.) Circuit ran onto the field, and gave Rainbow and Spitfire a group hug. "I knew you girls could do it," he said. Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
Crimson also joined the group in celebration, impressed with what he'd just seen. He wasn't very much of a soccer person, but he recognised skill in the sport whenever he seen it. "Hey girls, you two were awesome!"
After the hug ended, Circuit said, "You know, when I was a little boy, I used to play soccer. Of course, it was the kind where you just kick the ball and you win no matter which team you're on." He sighed, before saying, "Hey, you guys wanna come over to my place after school? I think I wanna get to know you guys better." Spitfire and Rainbow accepted. Sent from MAH BOI using DINNER
(Time-skip? Where we're going, we don't need time-skips. *gets in the DeLorean, gets it up to 88 mph*) Circuit would be the first to admit, his house wasn't the best. But it was all he had. He lived in a manufactured home (which I'm not sure exist in Australia, correct me if I'm wrong). In the living room was an old CRT TV with a built-in VCR and a digital converter box, because he couldn't afford a HDTV or cable TV. On a desk sat another, slightly smaller CRT TV with an Atari ST computer hooked up to it. Hooked up to the bigger TV was a Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, which had a Sonic 2 cartridge in it. Wherever one looked in the house, it seemed as though they had stepped into the 1990s. Indeed, the only sign Circuit lived in the year 2015 was his Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone. Spitfire, Rainbow and Crimson went inside of the home and looked about. Spitfire went over to sit on the couch while Rainbow went to the kitchen. Crimson took a seat right near the end of the couch, giving Spitfire some room for when Circuit would inevitably sit next to her. (Let's make things interesting. Since Spitfire is with Circuit, why don't I make it that Rainbow asks Crimson out instead of Sunset?)
