The girls watched in tears as they watched Crimson die before their very eyes, Sunset and Rainbow were crying the hardest out of all of them. Sunset then realised what she was wearing, and just fell to the ground in complete despair and buried her head into her knees to cry. Crimsons body eventually disintegrated into hundreds of flowers, which were soon picked up by the air conditioner in the room and flew around the group. -------------------------- Crimson woke up in the middle of a gigantic void of nothing, a spotlight was on him. From what he knew, he sacrificed his life to give the girls theirs back. He got straight up and looked about to find nothing around him, absolutely nothing, until another spotlight was turned on in the distance to reveal a sofa. Another light soon revealed a figure dressed in white with brown hair, then a couple of other people were seen sitting next to him. Was this the afterlife?
Spitfire walked up to Circuit and hugged him, tears streaming down her face. Rainbow Dash also joined in the hug. Soon, the girls were all hugging Circuit, as they wept, not knowing what he had done for them.
"Crimson Lionheart, come have a seat. We have been expecting you" A voice came from the nearby chairs. Crimson didn't really have a choice and just sat down normally on the sofa. "Don't worry, you are safe. What you have done is nothing short of awe inspiring. We have come here today to discuss what you have done." Crimson looked at the black void around him. "Where am I?" "You are in Limbo. This is where your soul has come for judgement while determining if you are to either go to hell or heaven." Another voice said, showing a bald man. "Crimson....you've killed Satan."
As the conversation continued, Crimson was seen as a hero of some sort by these people. He'd killed Satan and in the eyes of those in the afterlife, they all seemed to be thankful. He didn't know when, but Crimson would return back to life. In the meantime, he had some business to do in the afterlife. (Time skip? Let's say about 3 months?)
(Sure.) It had been three months since Crimson died, and everyone went back to their lives. Circuit, however, was still grieving, in a severe depression. Crimson was his closest friend at the school, and he felt no one could replace him.
As Circuit checked his locker, he found a letter written just for him. Opening it up, it said... "Meet me at Crimson's grave tonight"
Not knowing who wrote the letter, Circuit pocketed it, assuming it was from Rainbow Dash or Spitfire. That night, he pulled up to the place where Circuit's grave was. "Hmm, nobody here," he said after looking around. He checked his watch, and said, "Maybe they're late..."
Just after Circuit said that, he noticed something sitting on the top of a nearby tree. He was dressed in all black as the moonlight casted his shadow across the graveyard. He turned around to face Circuit, with nothing more then a smile on his face
Circuit couldn't make out the figure's face or skin color. Something about the figure seemed familiar, however. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. "Do I know you?" he asked.
The figure jumped down from the tree and stood directly opposite of Circuit. Soon enough, he took off his hood to reveal who should have been a dead person. "You can say that, Circuit..." Crimson told him, smile on his face.
Circuit couldn't process what had just happened. He felt too many emotions at once. "Am I dreaming? Is this real? Am I dead? In a coma? High? Seeing ghosts?" He panicked, as he just couldn't believe what he was seeing. "What's going on?" he asked what he assumed was Crimson's ghost, "What are you?"
"I'm alive" Crimson told him, grabbing his hand to show him that he was not a ghost. His hand was soft instead of just phasing through him. "Resurrection is a complicated thing, it took me about three months to return back to Earth. Jesus done it in three days, lucky him. When I spoke to him back in the w-" Crimson stopped himself after noticing the look on Circuits face. "Sorry, forgot that I kinda died and went to the afterlife." Crimson told him. "I'm back on Earth now, hopefully for good."
After hearing this, Circuit's conflicting emotions finally gave way to suprised happiness. He hugged Crimson as tightly as he could, sobbing tears of joy into his shoulder.
Crimson returned the hug by wrapping both of his arms around Circuit, trying to comfort him. "It's alright, I'll always be here for you." (Time-skip again?)
(Sure.) Circuit came to school the next day, feeling better than he had in the past three months. When he saw the girls at Rainbow Dash's locker, he told them, "You won't BELIEVE who I ran into last night."
The girls looked at Circuit, who seemed to be rather excited about what he was on about. "Who?" Pinkie asked him.
At about lunchtime, the cafeteria was busy as it always was. Many of the teens of Canterlot High used it as a social hub to discuss various things. A memorial was built in honor of Crimson, with a portrait of Crimson's school photo surrounded by various flowers. Plenty of the students often payed their respects to him, including the teachers On that lunch time however, the doors suddenly flew open like a gust of wind. A strange puff of smoke came through the doors as a figure in a black longcoat came through the door. All eyes quickly turned to the door, wondering who this mysterious person was. Then...the mysterious person took off his hood to reveal his face.
Everyone's jaw dropped to the floor as they saw who it was. For a few seconds, time seemingly stood still. Sunset was the first to react. "CRIMSON!!" She ran towards him, tears of joy streaming from her eyes, arms wide, giving him a big, tight hug.
