After some travelling, the crew discovered an uninhabited planet on the other side of the Galaxy in an extremely isolated system that had exactly what they needed. The planet not only had the right ingredients to support life, but it's atmosphere was exactly the same as Earths. The planet was named Terra, in memory of the Earth that used to be. Mother Earth landed in the middle of an enormous patch of empty grass that went as far as the eye could see...
"But...how are we going to do this?" Sunset told the group. "There are only nine of us, it's going to take centuries to have even a couple of thousand people. What if we die before then?" Crimson didn't want to say it, but he felt as if there was no choice. "We might have no choice but to play God."
"Genetic engineering, using our DNA as a template. I've been thinking about this for a while since the Earth was destroyed, on how we are going to move forwards." Crimson stopped himself from continuing, knowing that he was forced to make an impossible decision. "It's brilliant in theory, but I would be sacrificing my humanity in the process." (Might be turning Crimson into a villain as the power would get to his head.)
"Oh, sure..." Crimson replied before looking at Circuit. "Although that offer is still completely 100% on the table." The crew made it up the science labs.
"We are going to need a blood sample to make this work, so we use each asset of our genetic code to generate possibly thousands of different outcomes. It's quite amazing really." Crimson said before injecting a needle in his arm, and watch it till up with blood. "We can literally make an entire community before our eyes!"
Crimson placed his syringe into what appeared to be a super-computer. Soon enough, all of them had added their samples to the machine as they ran through all sorts of genetic templates. A giant television screen turned on to show the different templates at all sorts of ages, from birth to childhood, to adult and old age.
And so, the computer went ahead to create the first 700 humans on Terra based on the genetic code of all nine people. Crimson felt that 700 was a good start, small enough to focus on build a community without the fears of overpopulation. Just outside of the ship, Crimson used his magic to create the first houses alongside Rainbow. They were doing all this and more...
