(M'kay) The class party, not particularly that special. Just any old party that the class rarely had. Although, this years was different. A movie was put on for those who wanted to watch one, while others usually spent time talking or playing games to each other.
Circuit Breaker and Rainbow Dash were playing Spin the Bottle with Crimson and Sunset, though everyone invariably chose truth. This time, the bottle landed pointing at Circuit. Rainbow Dash had spun the bottle last. "Circuit, what is your deepest fear?" she asked. "Heights," Circuit responded. He spun the bottle.
This time, the bottle landed on Crimson. Sunset looked at him and giggled when she thought of an answer. "Crimson, whats the most embarassing thing that you've ever done?" Sunset asked him. "I guess...getting caught singing and dancing in the shower." Crimson replied as he spun the bottle again.
Suddenly, the fire alarm went off. "Alright, everyone," said Ms. Cheerilee, "stay calm, and we'll be able to..." But no one listened, as they all ran out the fire escape door, screaming and panicking, all except for Circuit, Rainbow, Sunset, and Crimson. "Crimson, we need to get out of here!" said Circuit, "Didn't you hear the fire alarm?!"
"Alright, let's go. Hope this isn't a drill" Crimson told Circuit and the others as they soon ran out of the room, relatively calm instead if panicking and screaming.
Circuit, Rainbow, Sunset and Crimson walked out of the building, and they couldn't believe their eyes. Someone had indeed, tried to start a fire, as evidenced by the flickering of light in one of the windows. "Who could have done this?" asked Circuit.
"I don't know Circuit....I don't know" Sunset told him before looking into the flames, which had rapidly taken over one of the classes as it spread, ironically, like wildfire. Fire fighters quickly arrived at the scene, but there was nothing they could do. It was far too dangerous to even get into the school. Crimson quickly had alarm bells go through his head as he went over to the Principal. "Principal Celestia, Is there anybody else still inside?"
"Well, there is this one girl named Fluttershy," she said, "but she's too deep in the flames, even for you."
Crimson looked back at the burning school before turning around to face it with determination. After a second or so, he quickly took off his jacket and threw it over to Sunset, who caught it with one hand. Sunset looked over in shock, as did everybody else who was suddenly watching Crimson walk towards the burning school. "Nobody is going to die today...." Crimson said before suddenly launching himself towards the school like a cannon, running at impossible speeds before launching himself like a missile into the front doors, which broke instantly on impact. About a second later, he vanished into the smoke as the flames seemed to intensify. "Crimson! What are you doing, turn back!" Celestia cried out on a megaphone, not that it did anything. Crimson wasn't trying to play the hero, he was doing what he believed was right. If he could save this girl, and if he died, that was enough reason for him to keep going. He was known for his bravery, his last name was 'Lionheart' after all. But to sacrifice himself to ensure the safety of others, this is what made him look like a hero in the eyes of many.
Fluttershy was curled up in a corner under a desk, terrified out of her wits. She closed her eyes, waiting for the end to come. Then she felt a very strong hand grab her around the waist and pull her out.
The smoke bellowed out the front door of the school, Crimson had been inside the burning building for quite a long time. When doubts began to appear, Crimson came out of the smoke with Fluttershy in his arms, and almost unharmed were it not for some smoke inhalation. Cheers erupted the moment that the two appeared as Crimson from the burning school as he carried her to the crowd of students and gently placed her down onto the grass.
Fluttershy opened her eyes to see Crimson standing over her. "Um, I just wanted to say... thank you," she stammered.
(Time skip again!) It was the week of Christmas, and everyone was at Circuit's house for Christmas. Circuit began to open his presents.
Sunset and Crimson were with Circuit, eagerly watching him unwrap his presents. Sunset was dressed in winter clothing, since it happened to be snowing on Christmas day. Crimson however, was absolutely freezing. He was in the warmest clothing he had, which didnt really protect him from the elements much. It was also the first time that Crimson had ever felt the weather get this cold, and was the first time he has ever felt Snow.
Circuit's first present was from Sunset, and he opened it to find a $50 Steam gift card. "Thanks, Sunset!" he said, grinning. Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk 2
"No problem!" Sunset cheerfully said to Circuit. She turned around to face Crimson and handed him a huge box that was wrapped. All sorts of things could be inside. "I thought of you when i got you this." She said to Crimson, slightly embarassed on what she had gotten him. Crimson tore the wrapping off to find a bundle of clothes, some of them were winter clothes while others were T-Shirts. One of which was an N7 hoodie. But that wasnt all. Inside was a photo frame, a card and a special item. A gold locket. "Sunset...this is amazing. Thank you " Crimson said to her, turning around to face her. "Although, im pretty sure that you are going to like mine." Crimson vanished out of the room for a second before coming back and giving Sunset a small box. When she opened it, what she found left her speechless. She turned around and hugged Crimson tightly, almost giving him a bear hug. She couldn't believe what he had given her. It was a beautiful, yet super expensive, heart shaped locket that had custom engravings and jewels on it. Inside the locket was already a photo of Sunset and Crimson, posing together romantically with her head resting on his shoulder. But it didn't stop there, in the same box was a photo frame and perfume. The frame did contain a photo of the two, but this one had much more effort placed into it. Crimson had photoshopped every photo that the two had ever taken of each other, and made them fit into one large yet impressive picture. By now, Sunset couldn't help but feel tears in her eyes. She squeezed like a little girl as she almost tackled her boyfriend down onto the sofa they we both sitting on. While she pinned him down on the couch, she kissed him directly on the lips. "Thank you Crimson, for everything." Sunset quietly spoke to him. She hasn't had a Christmas since before the accident many years ago, so what she found was a huge surprise. Not to mention that somebody, a certain somebody, cared for her so much, feeling emotions that she hasn't felt for a long time. She then took the opportunity to say something to him personally, something that she hasn't had the opportunity to say since she seen Crimson fighting for life in the hospital. "I love you"
Circuit's next present was from Crimson. He opened it to find a mint-condition Nintendo Entertainment System with a rare gold Nintendo World Championships cartridge, also in mint-condition. He was flabbergasted. "How... how did you find this?!?" Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash decided she wanted a present of her own. She tried the procedure uses to give Crimson his powers. It worked. Not content with being simply equal to Crimson, he then decided to try something else in addition. A genetic enhancement procedure. This way, she could be twice as physically capable as Crimson, while still retaining her figure. After the procedure, she was an Amazonian beauty, strong enough to lift a semi truck over her head without breaking a sweat, fast enough to run from Nome, Alaska, to the Panama Canal in 5 minutes, and tough enough to withstand a hydrogen bomb.
Crimson smiled at Circuit before giving him the details. "One of my older friends is a multi-billionaire, so she helped pitch in around $25,000 to get you something special after I've told her about you. It's still my present to you, she just helped to buy it. I'm pretty sure that the game itself is one of a kind" All the while, Sunset was resting her head on Crimson's lap and almost purring like a cat. All the while, Dash wanted to become a superhero. While she wanted to surpass him in every physical way, Crimson's original powers gave him a "Human" element. As much as he wanted to improve himself, he also didn't want to put his body under any more current strain. He had Superhuman physical abilities, and was essentially Deathstroke or Batman. Improving himself could come another time, he had a Christmas to spend with his friends first. (Pretty soon, Rainbow and Crimson are going to essentially be Demi-Gods )
