(OK.) It had been three months since the war began. Sapphire and Circuit had completed their training and were now ready to be deployed. As they headed to the briefing room, Circuit wondered what his first battle would be like. He was not looking forward to deployment.
They entered the briefing room, where Sergeant Major Rainbow Dash was standing in front of a map of a major Griffin city. Private Circuit Breaker stood at attention, saluting Rainbow Dash.
"Alright," she said, "We're going to deploy you at the shore, and you're gonna charge in and capture the city, with as few civilian casualties as possible. Expect heavy resistance from the Griffin forces. Private Breaker, Private Blue, you'll be piloting a tank through the front lines. Your job is to break up the Griffin defenses. Got it?" "Yes, ma'am!" the troops said in unison. "Good," she replied, "You'll be carried there via the EMS Princess Cadence, so prepare for a long journey, say, three days. Now, board the ship and report to your quarters until we arrive." "Yes, ma'am!" said the troops again. "You are dismissed." Everypony left the briefing room, and boarded the EMS Princess Cadence.
