I have found this real helpful, but I'm not sure if the college you go to offers it. Anyways I have a job on campus at my college, it may not pay much but they automatically work around my schedule and are very lenient if something comes up and I need to change my schedule around. Other than that just do what the others have written above I'm sure you'll do well ^^
I'm afraid of college/getting a job as well. Change is scary, man. I don't want to fight against it, though. I want to dive straight in. Forth, noble light brigade! I thought I'd just say that my parents are the EXACT same way. My dad likes to tell me I'm addicted to video games, but the truth is that he watches more hours of TV than the hours that I spend playing video games or on the computer, and I don't watch much TV. At least video games or participating in a forum is interactive; with a TV, you mostly just sit and watch. Also, I'm way more selective about the games I watch, when my dad will watch just about any television program.
Shouted at for not bringing enough friends home Shouted at because the house isn't a place for my friends to go to daily Never go outside Go out too much Wow, life sure can suck.
I hardly watch any television either. I just don't find it entertaining at all. Movies, maybe kinda, but not TV. Hay, my parents yelled at me because I "sat around on screens all day". So then I started going into town every day and playing board games with my friends, and then my parents complained because I wasn't home enough to help with chores. There's no pleasing them.
Why, WHY? Do what they say, you're a kiss arse. Don't do what they say, you're a rebel. Hey, this would make a nice forum game... 'Things that you do wrong either way'.
