(Levi) They don't necessarily need to be close to the princess. Keep in mind that the library of the castle is still open to the public as a public library.
"Ah, yes, I forgot," he replied. He turned back to Azure. "Next question: What was your affiliation with the victim?"
"i had no affiliation with her…like i said i only knew her name when i heard about what happened to her and what she did at the wonder bolts academy."
(Levi) As a matter of fact, I do, your honor. Miss Azure, would you care to explain to the court why detectives were able to find traces of your magic radiation on the gun as early as before the victim had officially died?
"well based on a book I read, some objects can pick up traces of magic radiation like a magnet. so it could be the gun picked up more traces of my magic than the culprits since i have more powerful magic and a bigger supply of magic in me than most other unicorns or even alicorns."
(Levi) That may be true, but with no evidence to back that claim up, I have to write it off as meaningless conjecture.
"Bailiff, please go and look for the book in question." The judge said. "Yes yout honor." the Bailiff said as he exited the court room "Hmmm... In the mean time let's continue with the trial. Do the prosecution or defense have any more questions to the defendant?" the judge asked both Circuit and Levi.
The judge nodded. "Alright. Please bring your next witness to the stand." He said to Levi Some guards gently took Azure back to the defendant chair.
(Levi) Now, since the defendant learned a cloudwalking spell from Princess Twilight's library, I find it logical that our next witness be the library's owner herself, Princess Twilight Sparkle.
The princess stepped onto the stands. "I am here your honor, and ready to answer any questions given to me! I'll even take an oath of honesty!"
(Levi) *blushes and gives a light smile* Though this is not really necessary for you, I'm still required to do this anyway: Please state your name and occupation.
