When Macro got to the castle, he flew up to Luna's balcony and stepped inside, he unclipped the small bags of bits from his wing guard and put them on the Princess' bed side table. He walked over to his room and stepped inside. He looked at the three sets of amour. The left was gold, matching his wing guards. The other stands had other wing guards with them, the other two armour sets were red and black. He sighed and started putting on his gold armour. He secured it fully to his body and trotted out of the room and down the stairs. He walked down a hall way and turned into one of the rooms. It was a small room, with scrolls held in place by a mesh sort of book case and in the midde of the room there was a table and chair with stacks of pappers and some inc wells on the table too. He sat down, picked up the quill in his mouth and started to wright.
Dark walked through Canterlot, even in downtime she wasn't allowed to go home. She ate at a restrauent (Owned and run by Mark Co, Snow's company, which did not help the home sickness), she just hoped she could get some leave time soon so she could go and see her friends again.
Breeze noticed all his supplies were now scattered on the ground, the journal among them. He began to collect his stuff and decided to ask, "What are you doing in the Everfree anyway?"
"Me." Crash said looking at the green Pegasus (And the top of a tree next to him). "Well I'm an artist and I've decided to go look for things you do find in ponyville. I figure it would be good to have some variety in my store." He then asked. "So what are you doing here."
"This." Fire said, holding up the journal, "It's one of my ancestor's war journals. He had at least ten of them, and now I have one." Breeze smiled at the book before slipping it into his saddlebag. "I probably could have found more if I could understand these damn crypt clues he left..."
"Well I'll tell you what I Need to get going so I can start painting before it's too dark but I'll keep an eye out for these journals on the way. No pun intended." He gave a little laugh. "But it was nice meeting you...um..." Crash actually didn't know the ponies name.
"My name's Firebreeze." He said, finally getting everything back in his saddlebags, "Come to think of it, what's your name?"
Macro filled out form after form, report after report. He finaly put his quill down and walked out of the room and out to the front of the castle. He took off and flew through the streets and over to the bank. He steped inside and walked over to a free banker. "Ah, Mr...... Well, Macro! How are you this fine day?" The banker said, Macro knew him from a past time when he had helped Macro get through some money problem. "Bits, its good to see you. Did you catch the race today?" Macro said jesturing toward the door. "No but I here that new lad won, whats his name now? Orangebolt I think." "Yeah thats him, won me some good bits aswell, well I just came in to say that the uncalled withdraw today was me, and also that perchace of something around 125 bits was me aswell." Macro said with a slight look of miss comfort. "Yes I did see that, something for a specal somepony?" Bits asked grinning over to Mac. Mac kept a furm look as he never did like the way ponys talked when they mentioned something as profound as 'love'. "As I was saying I just came to clear that up with you."
Breeze shakes Crashes hoof, "By the way, if you do find one of the journals somehow, don't read it. Those pages are for Wind family members' eyes only until I find and read all of them."
Orange walked into the bank and stood in line behind a pegasus he recognized from the derby. It was Macro, Luna's presonal guard. "Oh, didn't expect to see you here, you're Macro, Luna's guard right?"
Macro turned his head around to see the Wonderbolt. "Oh, hey. Yeah thats me, and your Orangebolt. The pony who won me some good money in the derby today, good race" He held out his hoof to shake.
"OK." Crash said a little surprised. "I wont look in any journals I find. I better get going now so see later." He said continuing into the forest. "Maybe we'll run into each other again in here sometime, bye."
Orange shaked Macro's hoof. "Hold on, I got to deposit some prize money" Orange talked to the banker and had the money deposited into his account "I'm having a party up in Cloudsdale Hall tonight to celebrate, would you like to join?"
"Well, I have the day off, and a load of work tomorrow. So why not? A good party sounds good right now." Macro said smiling. "So, can I ask you something Orangebolt?"
"How did you do it? Become a Wonderbolt that is. I always wanted to be one but never had the guts to go head to head. And I guess the Princess wouldn't have much use of me if I was a Wonderbolt anyway" He laughed slightly.
"Well, kinda long story, me and my friends were saving up some money for a Jumbotron, so we made some baked goods (gourmet of course) and brought them to last year's gala. I did the advertising, I was "Drawing in the sky" if you would with my sparks. Spitfire asked me my age, I told her, she was suprised someone as young as me could do that, so I showed her some more maneuvers and stuff. So, I got into a flying league and won the cloudsdale competitions. Spitfire saw me win Best young flyer (The year after RD did, of course) and I joined the Wonderbolts, and got that Jumbotron."
