Orangebolt woke up in the morning and stretched out. He looked through the kitchen for some coffee and something to eat. "Man, this coffee is great. I should try it more often." He said after making the coffee. He heard somepony trotting into the kitchen, and it was Luna. He remembered Macro Say, "Don't get into any deep conversations with Luna."
Macro awoke and was blury eyed, he got up slowly and looked around. He though he best go and see Orangebolt to see if he would consider getting them changed back this afternoon. He was finding his new body had to agust to and felt like he missed his old strength and size. He opened the balcony door and lightly flew toards the castle. He almost started going for Princess Luna's room when he then turned at headed for the main door.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it" said Orange. He opened up the door. It was Macro.
"Hey.... Ma.. Orange. We need to talk." He walked into the room and turned around to face Orange. "We need to swap back, I'm not use to this body. Way too light for my liking and I mean, I have royal work everyday that needs ME to fill out and send only using my singet stamp. And if one form is wrong, I could get it in the neck for it. So we need to swap back, at latest this after noon. We can head back to Ponyville on the train and get there for mid day. So what do you say? I'v had my share of fast flying and magic that I can't use."
"Yeah, I agree. This is getting a bit hectic with all these formalities and what not. I, or you rather have a free spot open in the evening. We'll head back to Twilight's then."
Breeze was up early in the morning to get the book halves to his friend's shop. After that, he decided to head down to Crash's shop so they can discuss the journals and all.
Crash was fast asleep on a desk in the back of his shed. Dollie was awake, she'd been sleeping for a long time so she wasn't tired at all. There was a knock on the door and Crash sprang awake. He was warn out from all the events of the previous day. "I'm coming I'm coming." He said still half asleep. Answering the door he saw it was Firebreeze and welcomed him in. "So what brings you he-" Crash let out a big yawn. "Never mind I remember." He was rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"Yeah," Breeze walked in and put the first journal on a table, "I sent the halves to my friend. That book will be back together in no time. Now, about the rest of the journals..." He reached under his wind, pulled out a paper with some writing on it, and put it on the table, "This is the sheet with the cryptic clues my ancestor left. These phrases are the key here, that and dumb luck."
Crash looked at the paper. He didn't understand any of the clues (probably because he was tired). "Hmm, hey Dollie you think you could give us a hoof with these clues. I found one on that old house and... where did you find the first one again?"
"This is Dollie." Crash Said as she walked up to the paper and looked at it. She was still wearing her sunglasses so she wouldn't frighten Firebreeze. After about 5 minutes she got a pencil and started to write. 'One of them should be in the old castle ruins I think. If you leave this with me or make a copy I might be able to figure out more of them while you look for this one.' Crash looked at Firebreeze. "You ok with that?"
As they enter the Everfree, Fire warns, "Keep a good look out for monsters. Considering how far back the castle is, we're bound to encounter one."
"I'll do my best." He said nervously. He was starting to wonder if this was a good idea. "Um so what kind of monsters might we find."
"You can never be too sure. This place has Minotaurs, jumping mini serpents, cockatrices, and a few more. Don't worry, though, I train in this forest. Nothing in here is too much for me to handle."
Robin hoof work up and headed for the library section of the major oak (his house) he got two books out the only ones he hadn't read the everfree cult (a horror book) and a dusty old leather bound book with some pages loose that his uncle found in the everfree when Robin was only 15 and gave it to him for a gift. He opened it and on the front page it said my final war Journal in fancy yet readable handwriting. "hmm, sounds interesting, real events too. Although I have a feeling it's valuable to the relative of this guy". He thought for a moment reading onwards. "Woah this is great, it's got love gained, close friends lost and a ursa major family in for good measure". He then closed the book to find whoever this was intended for.
Macro and Orange bolt had got to Ponyville and were at Twilight's house. Macro knocked on the door, it opened and Twilight smiled seeing.... Orange. "Oh hey Orange.... Wait, Macro?" "Yeah it's me" Macro said as he walked into the house. "We need to switch back.... Well, now."
