ok, so I think that MLP:FiM has some serious competition in cartoon music sector. The Looney Tunes show also have songs in some episodes (with section called Merrie Melodies). I think they did songs of the show so good that they are serious competition to MLP songs. Interesting thing is that Merrie Melodies have more comic lyrics and they are going around more music genres than MLP. Here are some songs from the show: (btw possible MLP reference in this song)
Gosh, when you said Merrie Melodies I thought you were talking about the original Looney Toons at first. Since Warner Brothers has been making music in their show since... well, before I was born - that's for sure. Comparatively, the old Looney Toons just had way more orchestra/opera, and now it's a little more modernized.
Looney Tunes Show and Adventure Time has good music on both shows that's for sure but I haven't taken the time to learn any of the songs from either show like I have with My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and Littlest Pet Shop probably because even though I do like Adventure Time and Looney Tunes Show alot i'm not a fan of either show like I am with My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and Littlest Pet Shop.
