I'm guessing we'll see some episodes that focus on Luna spending time with each of the mane six characters, and learning about them, and getting direct experience with their particular way of expressing their element of harmony. Luna spends the day with Rarity. Luna spends the day with Twilight Sparkle. Luna spends the day with Fluttershy. Luna spends the day with Rainbow Dash. Luna spends the day with Applejack. Luna spends the day with Pinkie Pie. And...maybe...Luna spends the day with Derpy. All these have enormous potential for interesting situations and probably some hysterically funny moments.

Luna is open-ended as she isn't directly tied to ruling as a position, only as a symbol of status. However, given her personality, it can be interpreted she wants to rule, or feels it's a duty. "What is this fun?" I lol'd. Anyway, she's very direct, even more so than Twilight, so there's a lot of potential.
I'm guessing that Luna appears just about as much as Celestia does in s1. Sometimes. Which is fine by me. *shrug*
Once again, a post-marked post, actually from 4 days ago: That is a possibility, seeing as during an interview with Jayson Thiessen done by EQD, it did come up that some background ponies/secondary characters would be seen a lot more, and have more prominent roles.
About the way Pinkie Pie has been portrayed this season so far, she is definitley different this season compared to the previous season. I think I've heard some say she's just obnoxious this time around.
^ I believe that she (pinkie pie) is beggining to display a new personality. somehow she seems too sane. perhaps luna being around has caused this?
Pinkie didn't act any different than she normally would've: wacky. On a side note, the comic where Pinkie collaborates with Scootaloo to get rid of her reputation as a chicken made me laugh pretty hard. "Nice Scootaloo costume, Pinkie!"
I don't think Princess Luna was given the task of ruling over the moon when she got back to Equestria. I'm not too sure, I just don't think it's been mentioned in the episodes, and I would assume that Princess Celestia would wait for Luna to readjust to Equestria before giving her responsibilities and power again.
Shouldn't this be moved to character discussion? Then again, it wouldn't get any responses after that, because no one seems to go to "those" parts of the site. You know, the ones actually about ponies.
This post is post-marked to show up to-day, but was written 12 days ago: It technically should be, but if it was, it would see a lot fewer posts, considering a lot more posts are made in the General Discussion sub-forum than in Character Discussion. Furthermore, many things that have been brought up in this Thread branch out beyond the normal bounds of character discussion, (ei. Possible implementation as new merchandise by Hasbro). Finally, moving Threads around is a nuisance for the site admins (I know how forums work, both their front end and their SQL back end) and as such, unless somepony is particularly opposed to this Thread being in General Discussion, (which technically should be able to encompass any topic) leave this Thread be.
