Where Hollywood Finds Its inspiration for movies is very weird. I mean they can make an R-rated movie about food and now a Emoji Movie? And I'm sitting here like, "I could think of 10 things that can make a better movie" but of those 10, five of them wear crap ,so here are my top 5. My top five seemingly simple games that I think deserves a movie: 5) Chess - a movie based in medieval fantasy times about two neighboring nations at war with chess tactics prominent throughout in the film while implementing magic. Many characters and classes will be based on chest pieces . I can see it being about a "pawn"; an underdog unjustly sent out to war, wishing for greatness. Your classic epic fantasy adventure. 4) Breakout - a surreal minimalistic Sci-fi themed movie about a lone robot trapped in an unknown place ,struggling to keep himself from powering down. The movie would be atmospheric with little to no dialogue as the robot moves forward using his own nuclear power source to break its way out through the obstacles as World behind it crumbles away. The movie will feature breathtaking visuals. 3) Tetris - this movie will take place in a historic dystopian fictional world as a Society struggles as they work to build toward something that's constantly being taken away. The movie will also have a Soviet Russian tone to it of course. The movie will follow a few characters as live their lifes while the corrupt government fights to keep themselves in power. it's about communism basically. 2) Hangman - a horror/thriller about 10 captive people who seemingly have nothing to do with each other are forced to decode a password to set each other free. They are given Clues to help solve each other's password, but whenever they get something wrong in the password, they themselves suffer in varying different ways and then eventually die. The 10 are kept in separate rooms and communicate to each other through a intercom with control boards and a fixed camera and can only communicate to each other one at a time. To escape they have to decipher the clues by learning things about each other which scares, angers, surprise , and horrify them. This movie it's meant to be intense. 1) Monopoly - would be a dramatic comedy about business of course. The characters would have hilariously punny names based on the pieces you find in a everyday Monopoly game. The movie will basically be about the power struggle between the CEOs who have companies competing buy out the neighborhood for corporate dominance. If you played Monopoly, you'll know the shenanigans that would ensue as many of the events are based on the cards you play in the game including the "get out of jail card". A very well-rounded PG-13 comedy. Well, just a couple of that I've thought up I'm pretty sure you guys could think of even better concepts of seemingly simple games let me know what you think of my lift and give me some of yours in the comments.
