Reporting is usually the better way. But of course users can politely remind others of rules. Just please don't backseat moderate, it causes for arguments and potential derailment.
well the last time I recall, there was a word used in the chat that I thought should have been censored. I didn't point it out, I took it to a mod. but smaller things like language in a picture.
I like reporting posts to play with the little guard, but I stopped reporting because I don't like how there's a comment system for reporting. Not sure why, but it just bugs me.
I've never reported a post, nor do I get post reports. If I ventured a guess, I'd say the comment box is to better clarify why you're reporting something. This would probably be better answered by a forum mod or admin.
What amuses me is that this thread has 11 pages. So we all seem to care about the staff. Far too much, I must say.
