Jumper looked at the odd pegasus and stayed silent it sounded like a misunderstanding to him, but he wasn't there so he couldn't be sure. They continued on the road until dusk Jumper then said "we'll be there in the morning so we'll hunker down here for the night" Jumper began unloading his basic suplies given to him from another gaurd tents, matches, food, etc.
"Well ok then I'm not one to sleep much I'll go fly a bit and another thing can you give my gun I saw the guard give it to you"
Jumper looked at the weapon and handed it over to her saying "Fine be back soon and I don't want you causing any trouble" Jumper then settled down for the night. - - Auto Merge - - Morning came, Jumper looked around the campsite, shadow wasn't there. Jumper called out "Shadow where'd you go!?" he said scanning the country side, "Great now I have an missing mental patient on my hands and she has a gun, why can't these jobs be easy and simple?"
before the jumper went to look for her she jumped out with her gun oon her sholder and yelled "booooo" then sat down
Jumper leaped back yelling "dear Celestia you scared the crap outa me!" Jumper sighed she really is crazy! he thought to himself.
Jumper nodded ignoring the clock comment, the two arrived at the mine shortly after. Buildings were scattered about near the entrance of the mine some looked like sorting plants for minerals others looked like homes for families. Jumper frowned it was too quiet "c'mon lets find Solid Ore"
"well then i think we should look at the shack that says solid's store" shadow said looking at the shop then going over to a tree and starting a conversation with it
Jumper just stared, that's all he could do yep she's definetly crazy Jumper thought to himself as he made his way to the store. "Hello? anypony home?" said Jumper as he entered the store. It was too quiet in here also, as Jumper searched the store he heard a crash in an instant he drew his sword. Jumper began to search the back of the counter then he heard the sound of a door slaming he turned to the sound of the noise only to find a closet door. With blade in mouth he wrenched open the door to find a young filly curled in a ball who screeched at the sight of Jumper and passed out. Jumper called out "Shadow! you might wanna see this!"
Once again Shadow had startled Jumper, "ah! will you please stop doing that?" Jumper looked back at the filly she was purple with a light blue mane and no cutie mark. Jumper now looking back at Shadow "it's a filly, a young one at that..." Jumper picked up the unconsious filly and proped her up in a nearby chair. Jumper sighed and looked at Shadow "keep an eye on her i'll go see if there's any medical supplies in the back" Jumper went into the backroom leaving the two alone.
"ok if you say so" shadow said looking back at the filly. 'i have an odd feeling about this filly what happend' shadow thought to herself.
Jumper searched in the backroom, he didn't find any medication whatsoever but he did find some bottled water which was better than nothing. Jumper returned to the room with the water asking "anything?" looking at the nearly starved filly with concern.
"I don't know but I think we should take her with us, lets turn on some lights to see what type of pony she is, i hope she is a pegasus i don't have many pegasus friends" she said looking down "I don't have many friends any way"
Jumper turned on the ligths brightening the room revealing the young pegasus' wings Jumper smilled saying "a pegusus? well congrats you may make a friend after all."
"YAY" shadow yelled at the top of her lungs waking the filly " oops sorry did I wake you" she said with a twinkle in her eye
The filly looked at Shadow with wide eyes saying "wh-who are you? where's my parents?" Jumper handed the filly some water saying "it's okay we're here to help, what's your name?" The filly guzzled down the water instantly, "i'm Saphire Ore" she said. Jumper nodded "Saphire eh? that's a nice name, i'm Jumper and this is my partner Shadow" he said with a smile.
"well Saphire do you know where dad is we need to have a talk with..." shadow stoped looking up and smelling a scent she hasn't smelt for a long time. "do you smell that?" shadow asked them both
